For those bashing on the Angry Joe or IGN review

It seems a lot of fans took issue with the reviews from IGN and Angry Joe as if they are the only people who have a somewhat negative opinion on Defiance. I didn't read the IGN review myself, but did watch the Angry Joe review and thought almost all his points were pretty valid and his overall score and thoughts accurate. I noticed a TON of people discrediting the review based on his style, or other things he's reviewed, with ad hominem arguments running rampant and straw man's on the loose. So anyway, I present to you a culmination of reviews from different sites, and some of them fairly well respected such as Ten Ton Hammer, Gamespot, PC Gamer, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Xbox magazine, etc etc. I'm sure people will take shots at some of those sites as well to discredit those reviews, but taken as a whole, kind of hard to deny Defiance didn't exactly blow the gaming community out of the water. And before people pull the "metacritic is crap" card - know that these links aren't to user reviews where you get the ridiculous 0's and 10's all over the place. It's just a list to a multitude of professional reviews.

These are some of the people who also gave simcity 8-10 score if I remember, I think the main problem is reviews of an mmo should not be a day 1 event, do it more like mmorpg does a review in progress or comes back 6 months down the line the whole thing about mmo games is they evolve and change so much almost weekly to do with fixing of bugs and issues.

Very simple... If you like the game you hate bad reviews and think they know nothing. If you hate the game then you hate good reviews and think they know nothing.

There are a few special people that can read a review understand that it is someone's opinion and you may agree or disagree with it but you take the time to see what they complain about is as big of a problem as they say.

Its an MMO, what don't these people get, you cant give a MMO a review on the first few weeks, its a constantly evolving game, which should be reviewed like every quater. Every MMO review i see is months and years after the release, and when they are first released there hated on also.

Yea you can but guess what it is someone's opinion so you can choose to listen or not.
