Doesn't matter, having fun.
You can do a "launch report" and if you do one of those 99% of mmo out there would get below 50% hell anarchy online would have gotten 20-30% but it turned into an scifi mmo that lasted over 10 years, a launch report should not give a review score, an MMO deserves an on going review.
No one will come back six months after the release to review a mmo even the players who already left wont come back in 6 months .
But the fact remains they can do a launch review if they want to as the game at launch is supposed to be a final product ready for the general public, which Defiance wasn't ( still isn't ). Nothing stops them from making a new review in 6-8 months if things change in game...
I don't understand why people give WAY more slack to MMOs or online games in general... if Defiance was a single player game, it would have been DESTROYED by reviews, I mean all zeros and ones from EVERYONE with the amount of bugs and glitches... And destroyed by the players, the same players that are defending the game right now ''because all MMOs have trouble at launch''.
I ask you...WHY do we expect that ? Furthermore, why do we accept it... ?
AJ's ongoing review is spot on. Very glitchy game coding by Trion. It should be shut down and turned into open beta for 3 months atleast. I am very dissapoint.

why would angry joe makea new review of an old game in 6 months? no one is gonna watch it compared to if he makes onethat's sensationlist before or shortly after launch.
when it comes to viral marketting and page view revenue models, you gotta strike while the iron is hot and use as much link bait as possible.
it also helps when you've been scouring th einternet for popular opinions to regurgitate for your vlog review. these things practically write themselves.
just look at the simcity pre launch review. super positive scores until popular opinnion turned negative, then lots and lots of revisions to generate even more clicks and views.
niether vloggers like angry joe nor ad based review sites have any integrity whatsoever. and yet vloggers like angry joe have a legion of fangirls convinced that they are so pristine and credible that they'll argue till their blue in the face with anyone who is aware of their schemes and why they are a cancer to both gaming and journalism as to why these people are saints who should be revered for their tactics.
praising people like angry joe is like praising the kardashians or people on 16 and pregnant.
I couldn't DISAGREE more... Why is it okay when an MMO launches full of glitches, huge flaws ( They made combat data client-side FOR **** SAKE... They brought the hacks on themselves by being bad at coding the game... ) and overall bad performance ? It's that kind of attitude that makes other MMO developers release unfinished products because the community ''defends us anyway, they expect the game to be broken for 6 months before it's playable...They give us a 6 months paid beta, lol the idiots''
I don't get the comparison, but I thought Angry Joe's review was 80-90% spot on for the game we have RIGHT NOW on our harddrive, which is what he reviewed...
u dont normally make a re view of a game a couple month's years down the line... cos by then who ever wants to play the game is allready playing the game..... u dont see any reviews of WoW coming out now do u?? or swtor??? even gw2 fr that matter and it's only been out 7 months.
a revirew is amde straight off the bat when the game is out for people who either 1. havent heard of the game?? or 2. on the fece of buying it.
so the review is mainly a break down of the pros and cons of the game at that stage. all the people saying u cant review mmos at launch and have to keep doing in progress ones over a year or 2 are not getting the bloody point.
