Yeah, I find it really hard, but I keep on trying because I'm having fun. As for constantly finding cover, still even trying to get hand of that. Often don't find cover in time, or the cover isn't the cover I think it is, or you come out of cover to see mobs health and shields back up... Sigh.

Well a mobs health doesn't go up unless you die. Only the shields will recharge. Also remember this game is all about Crit spots.

I'm around 520 and I am finding the area across the bridge very difficult and sometimes impossible.

So I've been playing Defiance since the night it came out... This game is really hard, isnt it? Or is it just me. I mean the ark falls are the easiest part of the game (and I love arkfalls.) But aside from that, anytime I go anywhere and try to do a side quest, or a random event quest things can totally just kick my ***... Is it just me? If so, what could I be doing wrong? haha I really enjoy the game, but die constantly. My ego rating is like 260 or something... what exactly does the ego rating do, does it make you take less damage? increase your stats? I'm just a little confused! Thanks a bunch!

I think your ego level does increase health, but the only thing I am sure it does is help you obtain better or stronger powers. Depending on the ego power you chose, the early game can be hard. Take the advice of the players above and find a Respark. If you're running cloak, you might be able to go without one, but I would advise it anyway. When you go to find perks, get the ones that best suit your play style. If you're on Xbox, you can message me on Live, and I'll help you out. When you're doing rampages, you might want defensive perks, but that is really the only difficult part to me: rampages.

That's Dark Matter. It takes a little while to adjust to them, but once you do you realize there's nothing else. You will adjust.

Game is actually easy, predictable AI. Its hard to die, and if u die, ur not punished.

I'm a bad player being disabled my reaction times are shot but finding the main game OK, but I doubt I'll ever do the challenges. I just can't do them even the beginning ones (I'm presuming the challenges get harder). Shame I was going to go the slow route and collect all the pursuits but being unable to succeed at challenges scuppers that.
