Dear Trion,
I eagerly anticipated the launch of this game as I am a massive fan of shooters and online multiplayer games. I purchased the game having read reviews and understood and expected there to be glitches and issues and was fully aware that these would be ironed out with future patches etc.. What I did not expect was for the game to be unplayable!!
I live in the south west of England and I have a sky broadband connection, I have always used the wireless connection which runs at 54 mbps. This has served me faithfully playing various titles online including borderlands, Cod, fifa, naruto storm, gears of war......the list goes on. However, whenever I tried to play Defiance the game would load and my character would have no gun, the quad bike does not spawn, there is no HUD or visible map to guide me, the sound cuts in and out, other players are invisible as are cars, buildings and enemies. The game was unplayable!!!!
Instead of moaning and crying I decided to buy an Ethernet cable to boost my connection speed. It is now running at 100 mbps but the game is still running as before!!! WTF???
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can somebody from your tech support department answer my post and explain to me what is going on? I paid £32.99 for your game, I paid £20 for an Ethernet cable and have wasted several hours of my life trying to install patches and connect to servers for this game.
How can you possible expect people to pay hard earned cash for this product? apparently if I lived in the USA I would be able to get a good connection to your servers and enjoy the game, If this is the case what are you doing selling this product in the UK?
I really would like an explanation, maybe some confirmation that this game will one day be playable and also some form of compensation. Will you really be expecting people to pay for a season pass and future DLC after what has turned out to be the most disastrous game launch in modern history!!!
If I do not get a response I will be contacting trading standards as I have simply ran out of patience. I have been gaming for over 20 years and have never experienced such a poor gaming product!!!
Kind regards,
a not so IRIEmurf!!!!!!![]()
