Major bug with stealth and shields in the game

I normally run blur or overcharge but respecced into a stealth build and now I know how these guys are getting like 15 - 20 kills and almost no deaths.

Your shields instantly recharge or sometimes you do not take damage at all. You also get to reset your EGO power. I am not sure why this happens but I am guessing it is something to do with perks and weapon swapping. I only found this by accident tonight and FRAPsed it so people could see. I can replicate it but another person said they could not so not sure what is going on. I am annoyed since I paid over 10k for a respec and now might have to respec back so I can play without exploiting.

This does not happen with other EGO powers either, just stealth. I would guess that stealth is perma applying its shield recharge attribute even out of stealth.

Using Cloak immediately kicks in shield regen. This means people with shield that regen at 90% will have theirs back up almost immediately. There are perks to reduce cooldown and increase duration too.

Did you watch the video at all? My cloak was resetting on weapon swap and also I was taking absolutely no damage from that mob when not cloaked. Perhaps this has something to do with the 5 hours down time.

The servers are back up and I still can't take any damage or if I do instant recharge, even without cloak on. I have swapped to decoy and it's still happening, like the regen of the cloak has bugged out and applying all the timer. I want to play but don't want to exploit people... I might just do time trials/rampages/emergencies - not sure what is going on.

Edit: maybe it has nothing to do with cloak at all and that cd reset is just a stand alone bug. It could be my shield having 0 regen time for some reason.

I would say you're somehow bugged on your end. I'd seriously consider submitting a ticket as a precautionary measure to ensure you don't get nailed by the banhammer.

It's just a rhino blastproof, 9.6s recharge time.

Uh this is a bug, not sure what triggers it but it makes your shields instantly regenerate thus you are pretty much un-killable.

I usually log out and back in to get rid of it since that is most certainly not intended.

But yea, must be fun in PvP to come across players with this bug.

A friend of mine had that bug when fighting Nim, his shields simply kept regenerating. Now the Nim fight is not really hard if you got a sliver of skill, but that made the fight stupidly easy.

Yea if I relog it goes away but then if I ever use cloak again it comes back. So I guess I can't use cloak at all. Sigh have to pay more scrip to respec and I now can't run cloak builds lol.

Edit: It seems if I log into the game with decoy on it fixes it. Then I just swap to cloak. I just have to remember to keep doing that.

Hmm still seems a bit buggy, I just respecced back to blur for now. The cloak cd bug might be happening to everyone though.
