Does anybody have a feeling this game will be dead on arrival ?

i honestly dont know why there hasnt been more advertising for this game

Saw a commercial on USA television station, a HUGE station that alot of people watch day to day. It was a commercial for the game and it aired about...10 am EST, so I dont think the game is unadvertised, much less dead.

i think if i watched more than History Channel i'd probably see more advertisements haha!!

So far, I have seen commercials on USA, history, Fox, FX, Adult Swim, TNT, and of course SyFy.

Yeah pretty sure this game will take off when it's released.. i'm not too worried about it being "dead in the water." I just hope the servers run smooth...nothing is more frustrating than getting a new game and it being next to impossible to play due to server outages bla bla bla lol

In France,nothing.And Syfy isn't a well known tv channel.But even for gamers the game is not well advertise...look at the Xbox live...But i'm ok with it.There are still new gamers coming to the forum.

I joined earlier this week (the forum) and i'm glad that i joined. This place is nothing like the CoDHQ HAHA!! A lot of good discussion and info about the game if you can siff through the betacode topics.

first time i saw anything for this game was at gamestop on their advertisement dvd they have playing in the store...caught giant bugs getting shot and i fell in love haha

150k at social media is pretty good, and considering reviews arent out yet. Ive faith from the bottom of my heart this is sleeper-hit, it catches on!

Gears of war is out in less 24hr from now so people have full 2 week on that before Defiance come out, and yes i know Gears is out now in USA lol. Now i do hope people do get this game a chance on the xbox because FPS is dead on the xbox for me and no fun any more, The bad timing of the Advance Mission Beta 3 this weekend means my new game of gears will have to hang about not open until the Beta is over

Both of those games could very easily make this game a sleeper hit. When two bigger named titles come out at the same time a a smaller title, it only has two options, fail miserably, or take off like a rocket.
