Darkane, i spent 20 minutes playing A:CM on Day of release and it went to the shelf haha..i guess by not getting rid of it i'm sparing someone else the misfortune that i had lol!!!

Betas make me nervous, they can go either way, good or bad. I've played crappy betas that turned out to be good like BF3 and pretty OK betas that went to be downer games...

I mean we're only a cpl weeks from release i don't think there will be a lot more tweeking of the game itself. i'm pretty sure a lot of the beta feed back will go into the dayone patch. hopefully it's a good run and when we get our hands on the finished product life will be good. I just hope the server stress doesn't cause the game to be hard to get online the first few days, that's what will make or break it for me. yeah i know there are always launch issues with games and their servers but i hope that Defiance is good to go!

It's up to us, the players; the believers, to get the word out for this game. It shows a lot of promise, but if no one plays it, it will die fast. So, tell your friends. Post on Twitter, Facebook, etc, Post on other forums you frequent. This game will succeed, if we want it to.

Done. I have told nearly all my friends about this game and not one person knew what it was. I really hope people who weren't hyped or knowledgeable of a 360 shooter MMO releasing will get hyped when they see some gameplay. I think a lot of console players maybe don't know what the hell a shooter MMO is. At least I hope that's the problem. Hopefully, they'll all see soon enough and will get hyped.

Hopefully fans of co-op games like Borderlands will snag it. There's a lot to like about this game. Like you said, I hope that enough of us can get the word out.

I hope not. Too be honest I only heard of this game about 1 month ago. I was skeptical at first but after watching You Tube clips with people playing and commenting on Beta my interest has really picked up.

I think the games industry has taken a real nose dive on consoles for the fact games have become more dumbed down, shorter and very linear. I have really lost interest in Games like Tomb Raider, Dishonored, Farcry 3 etc because they offer the illusion of freedom and choice but at the end of the day you are just funneled down a linear storyline for 7 hours with tedious collectibles and diversions thrown in. The games are then given massive ratings by reviewers even though they point out their shortcomings.

I love open world games like Borderlands and I like MMOs because of the freedom of choice. Defiance just looks like my sort of game and I really hope it does take off.
