Cannot pickup Poop

I need to pick up hellbug droppings for a quest, but i can't.

I cannot interract with the poop so cannot do it.

Anyone else has the problem with the poop?

Seriously, though, I have no idea what to suggest. I did this quest yesterday and it was fine. My housemate is doing it as I type this, and so far, the poop is behaving for him just fine.

Log out and back in and try again. One thing you can do to make it easier/faster is have a friend stand by the poop for you then log out and back and then teleport right to them.

If something you need to interact with won't let you, first see if it is glowing blue, has the wireframe effect around it. If not then it's most likely bugged. To remedy this, moving a fair distance away from the object seems to help. Try around 300M+ or fast travel far away and back again. If that fails, try restarting the quest after travelling a fair distance from the object you are trying to interact with. This also usually works with quests that fail to progress/spawn enemies or other NPCs.

Got it! I tried logging out, tried even to close whole game and start again but it did not help.

What fixed it for me was killing a skitter 800m back wich seemed to be stuck chasing me O.o. Even logging out of the game did not solve it before i killed it.

I now have the poop!

I'm having the same problem. I've tried abandoning the quest several times, logging out for 2+ hrs and still can't pick up this fecal sample.

I think the problem is it's slipping out of your fingers. Try using a shovel?
