A few questions before i pre order

So i havent been following this game for very long, so I have a few questions that searching on google didnt quite answer.

1. If i pre order from amazon (i want the sniper rifle) will the beta code i receive from them keep my live account going until the game ships to me? This is why i buy like 90% of my pc games a digital download, but that doesn't seem to be an option for ps3 pre orders and i wanna play beta.

2. Does anyone have a clue as to what the ps3 community will be like or if it falters if they can merge the ps3 and xbox 360 players to one server? I have read a few speculate that the ps3 version wont have a huge player-base, I mostly have used my ps3 for a blue-ray player and to play madden before this so im not familiar with the ps3 community to much and i dont wanna play on dead servers.

3. I have read about arkfalls (basically Rifts rifts) and dungeons. What i haven't heard about is full zone wide events (invasions from Rift, pretty much my favorite part of that game) or about raids or large scale dungeons, are these going to exist?? I don't see this as a holy trinity game so i dont know how well raids would work since u dont have a meat shield to soak damage on 5 minute plus boss fights, but i honestly love raiding in Rift and/or WoW whichever i am playing at the time and hope something similar exists here.

Raids and the sort are in game, I can't link you to the vid as I can't remember which livestream it was, but they went through one in a four man group. You don't need the holy trinity as its a shooter, if you need to recover simply duck behind some cover and wait for your shield to recharge. Everyone can rez everyone and anyone can use the healing gun(There are loadout options to make you more efficient in a specific role if you would like.)

As for Zone wide events, hows this?

Anyone have any knowledge about the pre order to live shipping details. I am all but ready to pre order from amazon but i wanna know im not gonna be waiting for days post release to get my copy to play.
