Then why the hell was it up to begin with... now tons of people are likely going to lose progress.. rage across the internet.. and the game will lose awareness and usebase, because someone didn't have the right mind to shut it off and fix it instead of letting things break continually. I'm tired of excuses my friend...
Shadow War is something you que for, when enough people que it spawns in a random area on the map, even if you go to the area you don't join the war, you have to join through the matchmaking menu. It's an awesome game to play but it doesn't happen too often during the workweek because it takes a lot of people to get started afaik. Hope that helps
They've done the announcements before and was easy to see. I do read chat. It just sucks to get into COOP and then BAM suddenly kicked out of the game; I keep thinking it's my internet, lol.

mhm... i can tell you as a programmer that they didn't see this coming, it would have happened in the space of seconds and that would have been that. Keeping the server online for any length of time after the issue began would lead to nothing but further corruption and degradation of the database.
Why allow you to keep playing because your clueless? sorry but any progress you would have made during that 30 minute warning window would have been wiped during the probably impending database revert anyway... please use some logic before posting.

Weeeird game hiccup....supposedly they are working on it. I'm just hoping a reasonable reset happens to correct all the escalation. Not something that wipes clean. Oh boy. *sweats*
I was watching few movies off amazon prime and thought I would play some Defiance now. Then I got the server is unavailable error like you normally get when they are down. Then I checked the forum and seen the post about it. I was kinda shocked to read that and wounder if it happened to my char.
Even though I was not logged in the game for last 4-5 hours.
