hm.. by communication you mean things like being able to use ANY bluetooth or USB headset, and not be forced to using proprietary gear that is overpriced?

by communication you mean the voip type abilities, found not only in game but through several other voip programs??

bet xbox sounds real smooth in comparison right? does that screaming 9yo come in real clear? Much like more mature pc gamers.. the ps gamers have far less tendancy to be screaming tweens, and speak only when needing to.

only one person can talk at a time?? lol, I haven't seen that since SOCOM originally released on ps2...

then.. there is the basic aspec that all gamers are familiar with:
Games with the best of one area, usually have to suffer in another. Fast?=lower quality graphics, high gfx?= lower audio, the table keeps turning. fact is.. you can make either console's voice sound good, provided you aren't using some toy chewed on by the family dog, BUT.. what good is that crystal clear screaming 9yo when you can barely get more than 10 people playing in a math without too many lag issues... IMO.. I would rather have the 256 lag free players in a match then care about what 9 other people have to talk about. Then again.. just because you have a headset, doesn't mean you know how to communicate well.. that's a skill the gamer has to bring.

Defiance is buy to play so even if elder scrolls is pay to play i'll be spending time on both. I love elder scrolls but I also like to shoot stuff. Which is why I can't wait for the next fallout.

Hmm...if your were to change the topic to "...for PC." it'd then be currently believable and would make me answer quickly with a "Both! Must play both!" Umm...which I will. Heh! Now, if TESO does come to consoles, I hope it gets a pinch of PS3 love as well. I'm still rocking the Skyrim currently...and loving every minute of it.

But yeah, these are two very different games. It's like comparing Borderlands 2 with Dragon's Dogma. There isn't any relationship between the two. Now if you were to say, "Planetside 2 or Defiance" now there would be something to relate to, as worthy comparisons.

    Cheers!

I'd go for both since I like Elder Scrolls Online and Defiance.
