am guessing the unlink option only shows up if your account is linked so maybe it is not linked?

It definitely was unless they just unlinked everyone on the back end to avoid any issues. I'll check again when I log in again later.

I've been trying to get back to the page where I originally linked it as I remember there was an unlink option but now when I head back to www.defiance.com/linked it only gives me the option to enter a link code. Its also possible to unlink in the game itself, right?

I also linked mine when I first started the game and it said it was linked and it also had the option to unlink. Just like yours now that option is gone. I'm also wondering if it is officially unlinked.

linking is going to allow you to play the game in its entirety. The game must be linked so you can sign in into the server and play. It is not suggested you link into the beta, so apparently, you can play the beta without linking to trion.

I had pre-ordered the 360 version from Amazon and got the beta code in which to enter to the trion's code page, I am assuming I will get an email from Trion with my beta key for the download portion to the 360 when the beta date on the 25th approaches or the day of? From what it seems with the pre-order, its a guaranteed key or did I misunderstand? I also haven't been able to find a way to link the actual game to my console.

I'm missing an unlink option on the www.defiance.com/linked page as well. Guess we'll need to wait for an official reply as to whether they removed the links from the backend or not.
