The game has only lightly touched on a single city and the surrounding area, there is what looks to be a lot more map than we have access to so far (just hit M and look around) plus episodes, and eventually (?) Antarctica (?) or maybe space, heck who knows, it's just beginning

@ The people saying there is lots to do. I don't think people are saying there is Nothing to do so much as saying that there is far less incentive in Defiance as there is in almost any other game one could grab off the shelf. Maybe some people love zero loot progression but at least for me I like some. I don't need it completely loot driven but holy smokes...I'm using the same gear as I was using 100 hours ago lol. That's just not exciting for me. I'm done the main story line. I'm done 100% of the sides. I've gold raced all the time trials. I've done hundreds of road side missions. I've done many several hours of PVP and shadow wars and have done the co-ops.

Others are in the same situation I am. I'm simply not playing everyday, playing something else. No biggie here. I like Defiance. But lets not be silly and say there is lots of exciting things to do lol. It's simply not true unless you were Very casual. I've had many a day I did not even log in and rarely play more than an hour - 2 most days now so I'm far from hard core lol. I even see people saying that games like Wow and other mmo had almost no content on release. Sorry, you can't fool those of us that were there for those games to lol. I know I was. There is less @Fun@ stuff to do here, IMO of course. @shrugs@ We all have our opinions and that is mine. For me at least it would help greatly if it felt at all like I had the possibility of something new kit wise. So far, it's been weeks since I've found any.

Yeah was about to start a new thread about this then saw this one. Usually I go full on to end game in RPGs to get the gear, but the gradual progression of gear along the way motivates me to do so. Here, there's no incentive in between levels. I've seen like same guns for the past 1000 levels, and probably won't see any improvement until another 1000 passes, so what's the point? Hell I see level 50 stuff thats better than the crap I see now, and with how the synergies work in modding the weapons, it's a fruitless effort. Borderlands at least at different variables causing different stats to show up. Here there's nothing until you pointlessly grind to top tier, and even then there's nothing much. Understandable for PVP, but the rest of the game, not so much.

I think I was around 500ish Ego last I checked, so I'm not far in yet I guess, though I think I'm nearing the end of the story missions.

But I spent a good hour or two just trying to pull off a 1080, and had a blast doing it. I'm hoping for more expansion in the vehicles, actual racing and maybe some limited mounted combat would be fun! And Dirt Bikes!

But yea, go shoot things, run things over, blow things up, etc. If this bores you, do the missions. If that bores you pvp, and if it still doesn't work for ya, well, you (like me) could probably stand to work on your tan!
