Hello just wanted to know if there are any laptop users here that will be playing this game (or have already tried playing it)

I was just wondering if my laptop could play this game on decent settings with decent fps
I have an ASUS G53SX
i7 2630QM
GTX560m
8GB Ram

I heard that 560m is comparable to desktop's GT450.

*I don't have the option of getting a desktop or using the one I have now, so please DO NOT make this an issue

I have a laptop with very similar stats,
i7 2670QM
GTX 570m
12 GB RAM

I have played it on that without any issues. I didn't do an actual frame rate check, but I never noticed any slowdown. But I play it with settings as high as they can go at 1080p

I would expect it to run great on my alienware laptop, and It actually runs decent on my win8 tablet.

yea since the game is meant to run on current gen consoles my 4 year old laptop is gonna more then meet the min reqs, never mind my desktop.

Skye, I use the exact same laptop model I ran most of MMOs at max with no problem.
( Swtor , Wow , Rift , EQ1-2 ... )

I can confirm my Laptop (which is higher end) can run the game on highest settings across the board.

Screen: 17.3” LCD 1920 x 1080
CPU: Intel Core i7 2720QM 3.3GHz
Ram: 12GB DDR3 1333MHz
GPU: GTX 485M 2GB DDR5
PHD: Intel 510 SSD 120GB
2HD: 750GB 7200RPM drive

Thank you for the fast responses, well while I do expect some frame drops sometimes especially during arkfalls or any major explosion scene, your answers put some of my nervousness away. Anyways I only have this problem because of the "limitations" I have.

1) PC Version - I have this dilemma since I don't have a desktop that can run this game, (if it ran SWTOR on 10-15fps, it definitely won't run this game any better), I was supposed to replace it but I left the country and assumed I would not be back until a few years. Anyways so I have the laptop but, it is still just a laptop. But it ran GW2, TSW, SWTOR, AC3, fine. However I tried Rift then and it got me stuck at 25-40 fps. for some reason. Guild Wars 2 as well but a little higher (30-50+)

2) PS3 version - No spec problems here but my internet is stupid when my console is involved, I have Borderlands 2 and I have strict NAT on ALL the games I have played online using this internet. I didn't have any option because of this being our only option. I used to play DCUO on PS3 on this internet but I would not like to risk it on a new game, I MIGHT buy a console copy once someone in the same place that I live tries it though.
