I think getting the code is fine. It looks like a legitimate way to get it, it's just the beta that the code works for shouldn't be able to be downloaded yet. But considering this isn't a like torrenting the game, it's just a **** up at MS's end. So they shouldn't be too harsh on people that try it out.

i have talked to people i know and trust over xbox live and this is legit they were actually playing the beta but the servers are down my suggestion grab a beta code and download the beta now so you can play when the servers go back up CODES ARE LIMITED
