I have defeated Nim twice. I have found that using my diablo SMG with it's high rate of fire instead of my normal weapon (3 shot burst Assault Rifle) allows me to put more heat on him more of the time, plus I invested my ego points in the fire from hip critical bonus perk, plus the other fire from hip, I don't remember what it was called exactly.

I personally like the fastest recharge rate as opposed to the large capacity. He may drop your shield using this, however, after 3 seconds its starts to recharge 40% after 3 seconds. So he hits you, drops your shield, then if you dont hit again for 6 seconds, you have full shield again. Plus, mine has health regeneration added too it. The small shield recharges in 6 seconds, as opposed to the larger ones taking 12+ seconds.

    Its something to consider.

I used my Ironclad shield something like 1600 shield and kept it recharged with my bmg - i have one with a mod that increases it's heal but less dmg, also found one with extra charge (1.15x), so it keeps up with me pretty well, key to the first stage is to roll left or right to avoid the strikes and zap him with the bmg as you can, heal, recharge, kill, ect, the bmg is nice, it will recharge even if you roll around once you hit reload.

I've tried it with the faster recharge, but died faster it seemed. I might try it again though once I have my BMG leveled up and go at it again. Thanks for the tip!

my brother spent a night in jail, and had to go to court, because a cop had nothing better to do except be too lazy to respond to an actual call (there were actually a group of kids, 5-6 miles away, smashing up local businesses). the cops didn't care. the only arrest made that night, for that call? my brother.

so no, i'm not exaggerating. there is a reason the new orleans cops have been under investigation by the fbi for several years. ya know, having set a kid on fire during katrina because he asked them for help. kid came in after being shot, looking for help, cops said they'd get him to a hospital. drove him out on a bridge, locked him in the car, and set the car on fire. this is not an exaggeration. this really happened. here ya go: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/...shooting_N.htm so, yeah, the new orleans cops really are -that- bad. mind you this is orleans parish, primarily, not the surrounding suburbs.
You're talking about the police misconduct during and directly after Katrina, my friend. That was quite some time ago AND since then, all of the guilty officers have been fired and received judicial punishment. I've read that article before, and I think you have some facts wrong. It wasn't a kid, but a 31 year old man the cop shot because he believed he was armed, but in actuality was just a looter. Another person drove the man's body to the police substation for help, and the cop who shot him took the car and the man's body, drove it to a nearby levee, and set the (deceased) body and car on fire. He was also witnessed to be laughing while doing so.

So yes, I know there are screwed up people everywhere, and I know that the piece of human trash AKA ex Mayor Ray Nagin allowed these animals to operate in the city and knew of police misconduct even before Katrina, yet did nothing about it. I also know that since the FBI and IA got involved, at least 5 other cops were convicted and sentenced to several years in prison for multiple counts of murder and a cover-up. Those are just the documented cases. This speaks of a failure at the government level, and New Orleans has had an awful track record.

All of that being said, the current N.O. cops don;t go around looking for random kids to shoot or arrest, however to my knowledge there is a mandatory curfew that ahs been in a effect since Katrina, and regardless of your brother's situation, if he was a minor, or had no identification, or was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There is also a degree of racism there as well, on both sides. Black cops harass white kids, and white cops harass black kids. It's a cyclic issue that has gradually gotten less over the years but still persists.

Still, kids aren't being locked in cars and set on fire, lol. Might want to re-check yoru facts man.
