Final Fantasy Fans?

I'm a huge FF fan in a way. Mainly love the FF7 games, primarily because the PSX FF7 was my first one. I just love most of the characters and how Sephiroth isn't full blown evil, he has a reason for doing what he does even if his actions are brutally violent.

I played from FF7 up to FF13 except for 11 and 12. They were all pretty fun and satisfied my RPG crave but they just aren't a FF7. I suppose that is a good thing though, FF is all about story and we don't want things to be too similar.

I will have to state this just to be clear. FFXIII is the worst they've ever done.
Reasons why:
•Transforming summons.
•Hope.
•Everything else.



I started with X then went to 7 then x-2 (then put it down soon after...) then 12, Dirge, Crisis Core, 13, 13-2 Pokemon edition. :P I really ...REALLY want to say I won't be getting lightning returns but...I might as well go down with the sinking ship.

People actually buying the XIII sequels is probably one of the reasons SE seem to be getting the wrong idea about what a lot of players actually want. :P

FF13 is why the dude had to step down. They say it was due to projected sells not hitting the mark...sure but they forced FF13 on people and have never stopped to say "What went wrong?" And now they're making a 3rd game to the worst arc in Final Fantasy.

They are making a final fantasy online game mmo for console this year it will be release in dec go check it out on youtube

yeah i have the FFXIV 1.0 collectors edition. of course thats over with but eh, i got it the day it came out. it was supposed to be on the ps3 years ago but the game was so bad they remade it.

For PS3 and PC haven't herd anything for 360. But they'll charge subscription fee

i would gladly pay the fee...well...not gladly but i'll pay it. FFXIV will be my second life. the only MMO i've played before defiance was FFXI

I love the Final Fantasy series. 3/6 is my favorite game out of the series. From the story, to the characters, the battles, etc. It's just a lot of fun. I'm in the Final Fantasy 14 beta & it's an ok game so far.

are you on the ps3 beta? i signed up for that twice! still...can't wait for the finished product.

im a HUGE ff fan....ive played most of them and finished alot of them....favorites are 7 and 8....7 is my favorite cause it opened up my eyes for the ff series and changed me as a games forever....one of the best charachers in 7....and well because of the mini games and the awesome sword+gun action :P hell yeah hehe ok sadly the series have been going down ....i actually bought number 13 and well....lets just say that i have no urge to finish that game.....square enix suck atm when it comes to ff games.....hope they get to redeem themselfs soon

FF7 is the best, probably because it's the first one I played in the series and got me into RPG's. The first RPG I ever played was mystic quest legends on the snes which later I found out is also a final fantasy game hah. So I realised my love for Final Fantasy from a young age. 12,13 and 14 have all made me sad though. 12 just wasn't even anything close to a FF game, 13 was slow, the game didn't seem to start for years and 14 was horrifically bad, so bad that they had to remould it. Hopefully it will do well again re released otherwise Square said that's the end of their reputation. 15 I could hope all I wanted for an awesome FF game but quite honestly the past few years hasn't filled me with much confidence. We shall see what the future holds for our beloved series.

Tactics is by far my favorite. Then(only counting the ones that I've actually played) 8, 7, 6, 1, and lastly 10. Blitzball was about the only thing I liked about ten. I kinda gave up on the series after that.
