Upgrade to Deluxe Version

I upgrade my Defiance to Deluxe Version from PSN store and for some reason, I still notice that i am not granted what Deluxe players should receive

Did you go to the defiance in-game store?

Press start>hold L2>select store from wheel>check claim area

If its not there I dunno

you dont have to claim or download anything to get the deluxe stuff. It should all be in you inventory as soon as you purchuse the deluxe pack. Check your boosts does your xp and script have a 600 sum hour boost activated?
* you should also have a purple quad and the Ark infaltraitor outfit!

I'm also downloading it now. Was somehow free in the PSN store?
Doesn't it effect player progress? I'm level 500+ EGO and don't wanna start al over again..
File size is about 6 gigs

That's provided you buy the Deluxe version of the game first. If you buy a normal version and upgrade its possible he may have to claim his items. I could be wrong but it's just a suggestion. If it still doesn't work then I don't know.

No it doesn't affect player progress. Just gives you a new outfit, new quad and some boosts. I don't think it would affect you at all...at least in theory anyway.

Seems only logical to me that you would need to apply the upgrade code key to your account before the system can recognise that you are entitled to the items. Unless the vendor has a telepathic communication link to Trion Worlds and your account.

should there be a upgrade code? psn store offers a download of the delux editon and normal. At first I downloaded the normal and I discovered it also says I can download the delux edition. No extra payment. It's downloading the full game. 6 gig. so what now? Install and see what happens or...?

I'm sorry, I play PC version (bought through Steam) and used the key codes that they gave me to enter into my account at the Trion Worlds website (the 'your account' link in my post).

I assumed that console players would also get key codes and could do the same (as the SE and Deluxe edition benefits are bound to the account). You have exposed my ignorance. I guess installing the deluxe edition download is the right thing to do.

So I downloaded the delux edition.. trying to install it and it says that I have a newer version (probably the patch) installed already and don't need to install... So what now.. I'm in the EU store.

Did a bit of googling, maybe some of this may help you:

I purchased the Deluxe Edition Upgrade several weeks after pre-ordering the standard digital version from the USA PS Store.

Did you purchase the standard digital version from the USA PS Store?

If not, I don't think that you'l be able to purchase the Deluxe Edition Upgrade.

- Season Pass is not included.
- I did not receive a code after I purchased the Deluxe Edition Upgrade. Instead, on the PS3 XMB, in Transaction Management's folder named Services - I see that the Deluxe Edition Upgrade is listed there.

Here is what is included in the Deluxe Edition Upgrade:
- Ark Infiltrator outfit
- Ark Infiltrator head gear
- Hydra Rocket Launcher
- VBI Sentinel Shield
- +5 Inventory Slots
- A-Tex Growler Camo Purple
- 30-Day XP Boost
- 30-Day Scrip Boost

So, check your Transaction Management's Services folder, then in game look for 'claim items' in the TRION store/shop.
