Dear Friends,

The servers went down. It sucks, It happens, Chill. Everyone in MMOs these days are so entitled. I'd just like to say, thanks devs for working on a Saturday night fixing whatever went wrong. Also thanks for updating the ETA, a lot of games tend to be horrible with that.

Have you seriously never played a game that had a server crash, rocky launch or an abundance of bugs? I take it you never played EQ, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, WoW, FFXI, FFXIV etc...? Heck tho Rift's launch was fairly stable, it even had a large range of bugs. Just add this game to that list, which i may say, is not a bad list to be on, a lot of GREAT games had rocky starts (and middles and ends for some).

well I was 715 as of 4/19/2013 at around 11pm. been logged of since then. I havent beaten the main story yet think I have like 3 main missions to go. Havent played any coop/multiplayer stuff yet at all. I surely hope I dont lose what I have. Although honestly as far as weapons I have found so far I dont think EGO matters that much for the first 1k levels.

I mean I have a weapon that I got at around level 200 thats been better stat wise than anything else even at the 700 level. I mean yeah sure it was an Orange/yellow colored item but jeez 500 levels later and no Blue, or Green weapon comes even close.

Yes, I'm curious as to how this works as well. I was just watching some footage of me livestreaming the game for some friends and noticed where I got my Scattergun at lvl 94. I am now lvl 429 and am still using the same shotgun. If anyone would please explain I think a few of us would appreciate it.

they rerolled at 4th or 5th night of the game release... oh wait you are ******ed, 2nd how the .... they are going to fix this without rolling back?

weapons dont scale at all, only thing that scales is towards 1000 ego %90 of the weapons will have 4 mod slots thats it

The quality of a weapon deals with how many innate modifiers it will likely come with, the EGO rating up until 1600 dictates the likelihood of better Synergies, and post 1600 EGO you begin to get modifiers that have more of an effect. (1.25 crit vs 1.15, etc)

Yeah they've rolled back previously and considering there are far more severe problems now it's certain.

there's no need for a rollback.. there was some kind of bug that bumped everyones ego rating (note: no one has mentioned ego level, only rating) by a few hundred. all the roll back nonsense is people suggesting a rollback to fix what was clearly the result of a bug. fix the bug, restore characters, crack open a cold one.

it's most likely the restoration of the characters that is taking this downtime 5 friggin hours... still better than a flat rollback, though.

What? A ton of people posted there ego level went up. I even posted one where a alt went from ego level 10 to ego level 1219. So unless they have a save of the server just before the crash/reboot they will have to roll back to the last time they saved the server data I'm pretty sure. Though I wouldn't mind getting jump on my ego level for my alts.....

again... that's your rating. you didn't log in to find a total of 1209 skill points to spend. since that's higher than the max -level-, which i believe is 260?'ish? while rating goes up to.. i think the last info i saw was 5000.

Thank you! So, should I wait until post 1600 to pay bits for T4 Lockboxes? I've been earning them with keycodes and a bit of salvage>keycodes up to this point.
