No. Only EGO and stats were different. We were on our accounts, items, inv, everything else was the same.

All we can really hope for now is that they can do some kind of Rollback. Everyone wants to be a higher ego rating, thats the whole purpose of playing the game. But to have some odd hundreds of levels just added to your character? Idunno... if they can't fix it and everyone is gonna be stuck like that, it'll be the end of Defiance for me.

Others lost ego rating and had their skills reset. Rollback's going to happen, or Trion isn't up to the task of running this game.

Wow, I didn´t know that such a thing was even possible.
If it was true, that would bring the hate and heat on this forum to a new level O_o

(I am on EU servers, havn´t played yesterday [so I missed all that] logged in today and all was fine. EU servers are up, also. This seems to only be an issue over on the US server, I assume? [Thank god...])

The only way it's not Trion's fault is if they let somebody else do the coding. Considering this is a code failure, yeah it's Trion's fault. Sloppy testing leads to issues like this because they aren't caught where they should be.

Hence why you're noticing Ego differences, different inventories, different perks.

If this is not the case i apologize for stirring things up.
BUT if this IS infact the case (trion please give the heads up on that)
I advise everyone to check their inventories and Defiance store Purchase history
once the servers to come back up.

I used to play an MMO that came across the accessing the wrong account issue
and i had to fight to get 100s of dollars in ingame puchases refunded to me.

Most recent occurrence of this bug i can think of would be PoE.
Not really an MMO but same principals of logging in would apply.

I am certain I connected with my account as all 4 load outs are the ones I had setup. And all the unlocked perks were the ones I had picked. All my mission progress was intact. Yet weapon and vehicle progress was incorrect.

Meaning they will roll back all game data to a time before all hell broke loose. It's a quick, cheap fix when something like this happens. A better, yet more time consuming option would be to only reset player EGO and stats, leaving all progression done alone.

So I'm curious, is this just an issue of today? Because after a patch last week my ego jumped up an extra 150 or so and people were saying that basically it was ego from XP we were supposed to get from one thing or another and didn't, and they were retroactively giving it to us. So is that not the case? Or are these two different things now?

If they have to do too many of these heavy rollbacks they are going to kill themselves for the short term....

I don't get it, I thought TRION had all this experience given Rifts and all. Why is this such a LOLWTF with this game?? I mean, I have patience and love the game, I just hate to see them slice off more and more of the playerbase because more and more people DO lose patience with them.
