Heads up for PC players about downtime

GW2 issue took 12 days per person to sort out and 3/4 of my guild was effected. Not even worried.

I never know what to make of these types of comments. What are you trying to say, beyond a) ArenaNet took about 11 days too long to sort out a problem and b) they also managed to rewire you to be more accepting of incompetence in the process.

Because one dev studio does something badly, we should expect and accept that same failure of every dev studio from here on out?

Its a real bummer they let this happen on a Saturday night. This could had been a big weekend for them but instead anyone who decided to purchase the game just wasted their evening. I really wanted to back ya Trion but this makes myself and anyone else who wanted to support you look terrible to those we turned your way. The five hours has now turned into seven and no updates. Nice try I guess...

ya it really sucks. i purchased it last night and DL'ed it while i slept then i got to play for like 20 minutes today before the crash.

Maybe Trion is just one middle aged overweight with thinning hair guy sitting behind that old yellowish beige PC , and now he is like all freaking out trying to fix things up and patch the patch, and we are all so mean unfriendly to him.

I feel bad, just refund my money and lets pretend it never happened. I would be real ok with that.

Hence why you're noticing Ego differences, different inventories, different perks.

BUT if this IS infact the case (trion please give the heads up on that)
I advise everyone to check their inventories and Defiance store Purchase history
once the servers to come back up.

I used to play an MMO that came across the accessing the wrong account issue
and i had to fight to get 100s of dollars in ingame puchases refunded to me.

Most recent occurrence of this bug i can think of would be PoE.
Not really an MMO but same principals of logging in would apply.
