Wow don't feel like a mmo please read

Here's my complaint why did they say this an mmo when it's actually an open world shooter.first of all mmos have advantages for players thats been playing a long time like beast gear or weapons.you know like am lvl 30 and Hese lvl 14 ohh wow he can't even scratch me am so happy right now.ok here's defiance version am ego rating 5000 and Hese ego rating 120,I been playing this game for a long time and he almost just started i been buying alot of lock boxes to try and get a legendary weapon but somehow the ego rating 120 fella got 5 legendary weapons wtf,also we fought 1 on 1 in shadow war but he 1 shoted me and he is only ego rating 120 wtf.mmos have more content when game is finish actually you can't wait to max lvl your character to start geting good gear and weap. Defiance version dayum am max lvl and there's the same content available for starters wtf. Defiance is a open world shooter not a mmo in my opinion bye muahahahaha.

Yeah it doesn't feel like a MMO, but on that note its one step closer to being a MMO. but it's riddled with more bugs then a Vegas hooker, and with the recent patch seem to cause more problems then fix problems.

We have to see how things develop in the future, since it is based off of a television show we don't know what's going to be included, one thing I foresee not being added is any crafting professions.

If you get smoked by am ego rating 120 after all the playing you've done with the weapon synergies perks and builds its your own damn fault for sucking and being ego rating 5000. I'm 1707 and i do more dmg than some lowbie who just started. Learn the mechanics before crying you don't think your stronger

It's missing a lot of what makes MMO's truly special but then again, I've never played a console game like this one: EVER.
Just when I was burnt out of FPS games like the 5 COD's I own or BF games here comes Trion with this little gem. Sure, it may have some bugs but name one console game that came out in the past year that wasn't littered with problems.
Fallout? Bugged as hell.
Skyrim? Bugged to the point it was nearly unplayable.
BF? Yup, bugged.
Black Ops 2? LOL!

Seriously guys, Trion has done a fantastic job with not only their game but the entire website interface built around it. Even though BF3 has been out for a year their forums are a joke (as is their community) compared to what I see here. Anyone here ever been to the COD or Battlefield forums? They're pathetic.

I love this game because its so very different from all the shooters I've played. Sure the missions are repetitive and I remember playing Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas wondering what it would be like if there was other human players playing with me. After the fact and after getting platinum trophies for both games plus all DLC you want to know my conclusion?

I would trade all the awesome, complex missions and engaging storyline in a heartbeat just to jump in a game with some friends after a hard days work and just relax and kill something (bugs, raiders, 99'ers..etc) and have fun.
If somebody doesn't like this game then I can pretty much guarantee 2 things;
1)Their friends lists are empty
2)They're virgins.


As much as I'd like it, this game will never be on the level of epic MMO's like World of Warcraft or Diablo. If that's what you crave then you are reading the wrong forum and should be in the PC section.

no i do agree with him to an extent i had an ego rating 71 green rhino shield for a while i got a 122 same rhino shield rating one last night and it had 6 extra hp on it whats the point?
Do you get extra hp when you level up as well?
monsters seem to level with you as well its not a massive increase as you go up in here i like mmo's where you feel like your achieving something more than a level and a point to spend on a perk that isn't really that great and very situational.
That aside i do like the game it's challenging to the point of being annoying some times, would be nicer for a bit of help or just a tad easier solo ability especially when some things can almost or can 1 shot you

That's not my point you asstard am ego rating 1239 I was making an example go play dic universe and try to beat me since u gona be like lvl 5 and am already lvl 30 with all t4 gear both pvp n pve I can stand up and you won't even take my life down a bit,but I bet in this ill whope your *** with cloak and shotgun if you ever played against me you will see i always in the top three.

I think you meant to say "mmorpg" because MAG is an mmo lol this game isn't an rpg unfortunately
