Easiest Way to get Bolt Action Sniper Kills?

I was wondering what the easiest way to get 5000 bolt action sniper kills was. I am at 657 and its just way too hard to get 5000 kills. It will most likely take me a couple weeks. So does anybody know an easy way to get those kills?

I'm just maining bolt action cause killfarming that shtako at the Bolinas sniper challenge (which gives you a semi auto that counts toward bolt action kills) would drive me batty. ~1900 to go.

I do believe that one of the sniper hotshots awards bolt action kills. Not quite sure which though.

Well, it is going to be extremely boring but...

You could simply hang out near the starter area, where there is a group of soldiers fighting groups of mutants coming in over the hillside and 4 of them which jump out of a truck. You could pretty much just sit back and pick them all off from safety with no risk to yourself and the groups respawn every like 20-30 seconds.

Like I said, boring as hell, but fairly quick and without having to deal with hunting for new enemies to kill or trying to snipe a herd of skitterlings all charging at you.

This is what I did for the last few hundred kills I needed. Just pop headshots with Assassin's Cache.

Odd. I had no problem racking up bolt action kills without having to do the hotshots, etc..

I got the majority of mine doing emergencies and other random spawns. Static locations are even better, you just clear them out, wait for the respawn timer to roll over, and do it again.

Helps to have an AR and/or shotgun as backup. It's easy to get swarmed by raiders if you miss too many of them at the beginning.

Make sure to start in on them from max range and slowly back up as you're taking them out. Helps keep them from closing on you as fast, and if needed you can retreat back a bit and make them leash back to their spawn point, where you can start over again.

You can even take out the rioters with their shields. When they pause, sometimes you can get the angle over the top edge of the shield and drill one through the skull, or shoot them in the arm that's holding the shotgun, which will rock them back. If your gun is fast enough, you can nail the arm, and get a headshot in before they recover.

Just west of Iron Demon Ranch, a whole slew of mutant npc's spawns. Take those down, then head back to Iron Demon Ranch, and see if there's a random emergency just south of the gates. If not, head back west and the mutnats will have most likely respawned.

three weeks in and people want to grind out the difficult stuff which is meant to take months. have fun not seeing daylight, or bathing.

Just hang around Arkfalls and shoot skitterlings.
1 shot 1 kill (added bonus that it makes some people rage).
