Seriously! Quit shooting the skitterlings!

And behold!
The trolls have awakened!

You guys know that there is a type of Arfall called "Extermination?"
These are the Arfalls that you can do whatever you want and kill as many as you can. What I'm referring to is the other major ones that require us to destroy crystals first.
Help us destroy the crystals and then when we get to the end you can rip out the Chargers (good luck driving around the Monarchs!) grenade launchers, BMG's and whatever other gun you want to farm your kills.

By playing with other players and helping newer players accrue XP you all can get kills, PLUS XP, PLUS LOOT while at the same time completing your precious pursuits and helping others at the same time.

Look boys, this thread wasn't meant for EGO 1500's to come in here talking smack and acting like dorks. It was meant for newer players who genuinely don't know any better.

My only point.. was that people doing things of this nature.. killing skitterlings.. not being perfect in instances.. etc.. does not affect you nearly as much as you think it does. Chill the hell out.

I'm not out there trying to ruin your day. I would say its safe to say MOST other players doing these things aren't either. They are just playing the game in a manner most fun to them.. and it is in fact.. not ruining your day. You're making a fuss over nothing.

Friendly advice... don't resort to the lame 'Basement Dwellers" or "children" argument. It doesn't make you seem mature or intelligent... let alone right.

You may or may not be correct in your assessment about the motives of other players, it is just as likely as you are presuming that your motives are the same as everyone else who farms skitterling kills at major Arkfalls.
The facts are simple enough for anyone to understand regardless of "age" or "maturity." There are enough Arkfalls that are of the Decimation or Extermination variety that should, in theory leave those players trying to complete those pursuits plenty of opportunities to do exactly that.

My point was just proven no more than 20 min ago when my group an 25 others completed a "Mother" and there was a player who had 529 kills and found himself in 19th place on the leader board. This player was not doing anything other than killing bugs and doing nothing to help the rest of the players destroy crystals. Luckily it was only one player doing it this time and not several, even still we completed our last crystal before the Hellion with 45 seconds to spare...and there was roughly 30 friendly players around (thank god)

Again, this thread wasn't intended to reprimand experienced players, it was meant for beginner players to know not to shoot them and to kindly ask that veteran players to respect the fact that there might be other players trying for their pursuits to complete x number of Arkfalls.
There is a way that EVERYONE can get what they want as long we ALL show some respect and consideration for our fellow gamers.
We're all here because we love the game and support Trion, lets not distract this fact with inane diatribe and pointless inferred insults. Granted, I too am guilty of this so I apologize.
It's just frustrating trying to do an Arkfall when it seems that other players are doing above and beyond to troll other players for their own amusement.

I will join the fun in the future if you cant beat them join them.... NOT! But prob will if others keep doing cause then trion will disable vehicles in the red zone. Win Win haha

I rarely use vehicles there but big ark falls i like them doing it so we can work on the boss and not get goo nonstop or what not. The small ones no reason to use unless not good at the game or being evil.

HONESTLY I don't think there trying to get the most kills to see who's best or who got more kills, think its all about the ARKFALL PURSUIT, to me its there so desperate in trying to get 5000 ARKFALL KILLS they think using a vehicle will accomplish that goal for them, to the point they don't care if the ARKFALL fails... ***HOLES

I actually received a subassignment yesterday when I was playing to occupy an Arkfall to kill these skitterlings. I also didn't had much of a choice since I needed to get behind them to hunt down some mutants. So I do understand some people rather have them be left alone, but I don't think it's possible for everybody in any given situation within the game.

Man, I saw three Arkfalls fail today due to noobs either shooting or driving over the skitterlings when we're trying to get them to open the crystal.

Even though the EGO constantly (and I mean CONSTANTLY) tells you that the skitterlings bites open the crystal there is always some ****** killing them all!

DO NOT KILL THE LITTLE BUGS!

If you have to actually shoot a skitterling then you're doing it wrong. Melee is much more fun and saves ammo for Warriors and those pesky Archers.

Bish please, they can kill the skitterlings, just save it for AFTER they om-nom-nom on the crystal, otherwise them dudes gonna go all pokemon and evolve into elites, no one wants that.

Too funny.

My clan has a system, one group focuses on Archers and blast pods, maybe Monarch if there's one there. The other group circles the crystal close and dodges warriors and skitterlings looking for openings. When we don't have people driving around killing the little guys. We can take down a major Arkfall in 25 minutes or less.
Killing anything other than archers and blast pods is a waste of ammo.

Dodging warriors and monarchs is all too easy, they aren't much of a threat in an Arkfall. Archers have crazy accuracy and shoot those circling the crystal and the goo slows them down making vulnerable to smash attacks from warriors.
