I recommend reading the whole thread, just for entertainment value.

i think is the best model

just like the MMO:Guildwars 2,The Secret World (who start as p2p) or the RPG: Diablo 3, Torchlight 2.

F2P have alot of P2W content and people that just spam all the time becouse its free to play so everyone can play, B2P are for players who pay one time and want to play the game.

the only model ilove to play its B2P with DLC and custom content and this is what trion done with Defiance.
mybe we have less players but we have player that pay for their game.

DRM is a horrible horrible thing. It makes life worse for legit copy buying customers, and makes no difference for the torrenters, because their versions have had the DRM stripped away. Thus, the torrenters have a -better- version than the paying customers.

Who wouldn't rather have been able to play Diablo 3 offline?

    Some people did. :I

Oh my god the OP is actually serious...

I have never actually seen someone this mind blowingly stupid when it comes to 1: How businesses work 2: Copyright law 3: How torrents work 4: Degree of gullibility...

I actually feel stupider from having read this thread.

    No.
    Really.
    No.
You REALLY think what you wrote?
Please, tell me it's a joke.

Never heard of copyright laws, uh?

Not a single dime for that ads will go to the companies who did produce the movies/games/music.

    It's called DRM...

Same price of a single player, but you will have LOT MORE of fun hours. And on resellers like g2play you can buy with good discounts (for PC)

yeah there's lots of people who can't play a game because of the DRM restrictions. I've seen articles on major gaming sites about people buying the game, and then downloading a torrent for the freedom. Personally, I don't have an issue with DRM, I'm a huge fan of steam, but I have heard horror stories.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
