How come some were aloud to play the Xbox beta and or have access to download it and even play it but say no to everybody else? They say we only had like one day before now we have it 3 days but some were aloud to download it a few hours ago what gives?
im pissed i paid 150 for this damn game and cant even get a code but ppl that havent pre-ordered the game can download it that complete ********
couple of sites were giving away free codes that were active, and the beta was only up more than likely by mistake. they are back down now and we now have to wait like you. I never got to play, but I got the code to download it early so I'm ready on beta day.
I dont think anyone was 'allowed' early access, I think it was a screw up on trions end, someone switched all the betas on by accident, or at least 360 and ps3. Now ps3 is up, and 360 is down.

The beta is 48hrs, it was 37hrs. It may span 3 UK days, but it is still only two days
but still they can give keys away to other site and not to the ppl that paid which i find dumb im gonna have to wait a whole day to download the dumb thing giving me like what 1 1/2 days to play so stupidd this is .... idk im just raging i want my key and i want it now ....

that thread details the fact that the beta starts early morning on the 25th, and they send the email on the night of the 24th. You'll have time to download it before the beta starts.

To be fair, we don't know how much of that is Trion's fault. I know I didn't and probably never will receive mine from Gamestop despite the fact I pre-ordered. Now, is it the retailers fault for not giving us the codes or has Trion dropped the ball and not given them the codes, who know.
My guess would be that it's actually a combo of the two. Trion gave them instructions and a list of pre-order bonuses thinking they'd be smart enough to figure out that BETA access needed to be given at the time of pre-order, but the stores probably just lumped everything in to be printed on the receipt when they pick up the game meaning they get their in-game bonues and beta access...after the game releases.
My guess is Trion could have been clearer, but that the stores are completely ignorant too and can't use common sense.
