they havent sent out keys yet ...... they go out on the 24
A certain website received some keys to do a giveaway with. They started giving them away this morning. The people that got those keys were able to download the beta and log into the server. Shortly after the server was pulled down. Pretty sure there was a mixup somewhere on someone's part but now there are a lot of butthurt people that haven't received their keys from pre-ordering.

no keys were sent out, some were given away for promotional purposes most likely. There were a couple of sites that gave some out, but nothing confirmed from trion.
Yeah someone goofed up big time (maybe they were under the impression that they weren't supposed to wait till the 24th to give out keys?)
Regardless, having people with keys and the client already downloaded is good for everyone. That's less download traffic on the 24th when everyone else gets theirs. And the servers are down right now, so no one is getting early play time. A few people got like half an hour, but they fixed that quick and shut it down.

All I got was to make my character:/ most likely it'll be gone when the servers come out when they're suppose to.
