OMG ive just deleted my charcater by accident HELP

Glad to hear you got your char restored, the lack of a verification process when deleting chars have many times worried me when deleting various alts.

I have always hated it on xbox live when messaging a friend as the delete friend option is right below it, and it doesn't give you the option to cancel. Luckily that only takes 5 minutes to set back up again, with a slightly humiliating message to the friend, this is just painful.

Yeah, it's such a stupid place to have it. I've almost deleted a few friends, and my friend deleted me while we were playing the beta. Makes you wonder how something like that actually makes it to the public release. How did no one notice it while they were designing the menu.

Ok ive got news..... Success, i highly recommend useing trion worlds live chat support, i had to wait around for an hour but once i got someone they asked my email address and character name and boom they restored my character almost instantly, everythings there except the clan i made today of which i was the only member

I actually thought it wouldnt be possible myself but good on ya! Wonder if that means they can cross platform. Im converting to pc at the end of the year. Becawesome if i could get my character to transfer.

It asks you if you want to delete, but it dosnt have any sort of verfication like most mmos, most mmos will ask for either your char name, your account name or your password before char gets deleted.

I don't know why the game just doesn't ask you to type your characters name when you want to delete it. Even the mmo I have on my freaking smart phone does this.

another great service from trion! glad you got your char back, what they should really have is a random 4 digit number that you have to copy and enter to delete the char, sort of like a capture image.

Wow, i know doing that isn't easy and in most games requires a server revert, you got really lucky lol.

Yep report it. And most likely, you will have to wait a while (since the game is new and the gm's will most likely have a ton of work to do).
