Wanting MOD or Commands - 3PS to FPS + turn key

Not looking for a debate, I know some people don't mind the controls or view, this is my preference and only looking for help to finding a way to fix it for myself....

Is anyone aware of how to mod the game so I can turn off the 3PS view? The game already runs in FPS fashion which is perfect for me, but seeing my character off to the side just bugs the hell out of me... I just want to turn my guy off! and THEN if possible put a down the arm view that I'm used to in FPS games....

on a side note, I also am looking for a 'turn' key... I want to assign a key to turn, not strafe... another huge pet peeve of mine that has been cause for me never buying other big titles. I understand these games were made for console controls, and ported to PC... but I don't understand why it's so hard to give me a turn by key function (not mouse).... It's just the way I play - move and turns all keyboard, mouse does nothing but small adjustments for precise aiming.

TY in advance for any help you can provide

Get a macro app, assign a key to mouse movement over a certain axis. That may work

I use a macro for auto-fire :P My mouse button 6 or whatever is assigned to repeat left-mouse click every 0.5 seconds Semi-auto weapons are now auto. Heh.

i also cant help but laugh at wanting to turn it into an FPS, did you just blindly buy this game or something?

Deiphysity - thx for the idea, I will definitely look into that, I only worry there may be delay in the turn...

Kennedy - no, sorry, prolly wasn't clear - I want to be able to turn in place with keyboard while also being able to aim with mouse. - I will also use strafe keys, but i"m used to them being Q+E keys.

Miko - thx for being a closed minded idiot, the interweb can't have enough of you.

dirtyklingon - yes some games dont have a turn key, it's about 50/50 now. CS (beta) was when I first played these games hardcore (never liked quake) , and got used to that style. For me, I find that I have way more accuracy and reaction speed, than having no turn via keyboard. - if it's not for you, that's cool, do I have to ONLY play the way you want to?
as for the 3rd person in this game - if you were to cover up the guy, yes it is essentially a FPS - it's only the animated guy off to the side that is visually bugging me, if he was gone and I only had cross-hairs, that'd be close enough for me to enjoy the game more.

Personally, I love the TPS view, but its not uncommon for MMOs to allow you to zoom in to a first person perspective. It really doesn't take much work at all. It wouldn't surprise me if Trion were to implement that somewhere down the road.
