In game voices not working right [XBOX-360]

Been having his issue since the big patch.

All my ingame voices are not working. All I hear is, either, random emote comments or dialogue from other missions. This happens in cut-scenes as well. I either don't hear any of the cut-scene voices or I get random emote comments.

I want to know, if I uninstall the game on my 360 then re-install, will that work? I don't want to lose anything(like completed contracts) if I don't have to.

I did this yesterday and i can confirm that yes, it does work because i had the same problem, and was also worried about losing everything, but i did i anyway and its all fine! just delete all of your defiance data, and reinstall the game and patches. DO NOT LET YOUR XBOX TURN OFF BY ITSELF BECAUSE IT WILL MESS UP THE DOWNLOAD OR CORRUPT THE DATA. i think its because my xbox auto shut off was on, and i turned it off and let the game download all the patches and what not. then boom, everything was working fine again.
