I did make sure to emphasize that this was on PS3 and was told they are no longer manually advancing the pursuits. Here are the screens from the chat.
I tried to use Trion Live chat support to fix this issue.
They told me there was nothing they could do, that they were simply unable to do ANYTHING at all about it. They also used canned responses to answer questions I wasn't asking.
It felt like they weren't even paying attention.
Well, that's rather screwed up. It was only maybe three hours ago at most that the lady was able to fix it. Granted, though, this was by phone, rather than through the live chat, as the person in the live chat for some reason couldn't see anything that I was typing at all. Now I really wish I had gotten her name.
Angeleus09: That GM, Sondred, was the one who couldn't see what I typed, took my phone number, and passed it along to the lady who then called me and fixed the issue.
I see in those screenshots, though, that it looks like they must have done it a few times, and it was enough to warrant directly looking at the issue. Hopefully that means that a minor update is incoming before April 29 that will fix the issue for PS3 players overall, rather than all of us having to get it dealt with manually.
And now, based on the comments in that set of screenshots, I get to worry that them fixing the issue for me earlier today might have "broken" something for the future once that update comes. : sigh :
I just got done talking to support. At first they didn't want to fix it for me and he said they aren't fixing it for others. I said how am I supposed to complete something that isn't even in the game yet by next week and I told him that Xbox and PC players had it fixed already. After that he manually did it for me and now the Capture and Hold is marked as complete and the pursuit it finally complete.
If they can fix it for anyone, they can fix it for everyone. We shouldn't have to lose the little free time we have to resolve a problem they created that can be fixed server side.
Contacted support this morning and had it fixed. Only had to wait about 20 minutes, which isn't bad and way shorter than I had to wait for support to get my challenger pre-order bonus. They just asked for some info and fixed it. They really do need to step it up and give everyone more info about this issue and fix it instead of us having to contact support.
I just got off live chat a few minutes ago and got the we are not manually advancing Pursuits anymore line. Even after I told them I was on PS3 and other on the forums have had it fixed. What a bunch of BS.
Tried again and got told by a 2nd GM that they cannot complete the Pursuit for me. Argh!
