What would you suggest done to Cloak?

I can't say i've ever gotten mad on forums because of anyone ever. Not going to get mad at anyone in real life over a forum post, i'm not 12 or what the 12 year olds call, 'butthurted'. When did I ever start complaining about shotguns or CQC maps, those were just used to illustrate my points for combinations and examples. I never said shotguns as a weapon were overpowered, I used them with cloak as an example of an over powered setup. Anything about CQC maps being unfair or bad maps, try to find that in any of my posts, you can't. Point is that cloak is overpowered, ok? That's the original post so stick to it. So let's stop talking about shotguns since I used them as an example, let's get back on topic and all 4 of those 'reasons' are besides the point and assumed about my gameplay.

The maps are for CQC cloak+ Shotty at home here.Yes your post is about cloak but it got here because of cloak +shotty. I've never played an MMO? Dude are you on the right forums? It's an MMO forums. I told you already this thread is to discuss cloak. I've seen plenty of people get mad at the fact cloak is almost a guaranteed getaway, i've seen people get mad at how cloak is too long and lasts too long with quick recharge, i've seen people get mad at shadow strike and it's ability, i've seen people get mad at alot of things regarding cloak, shotguns aren't the objective of this thread. Don't know what you mean by saying I am understanding, clearly I'm not, I posted this thread and asked for all discussion about cloak, if you want to bring shotguns into this that's fine but don't fight me and get mad over your inability to read. Mature up, or get out of the discussion. Asking me to provide details on a broad topic is again dumb, i'm not the one debating. I joined the discussion later on, the intention was for community discussion, not for me. I simply joined it later on. I allowed all discussion on cloak. Also, you said for me to post pros and cons. Since when did this even turn into a nerf thread? I asked for discussion on cloak. You're beyond reading I guess.

See, that's great because you're mainly defending. I'm guessing by tight hot spots, few entrances, you were playing Shadow wars. You were not playing offensive, and you could 'spot' these players from a mile off as they came to that hotspot. They wouldn't be able to cloak anyways, or at least not as effectively as competitive. In competitive it is close quarters, usually run with shotguns if you've ever played it and to add cloak to the shotguns is a favorable combo. Try playing competitive and you'll see what I am talking about.

See found it for you,please explain to me what competitve maps your talking about because theres only two and there CQC.

I don't know how that's misunderstanding a simple relay, you obviously didn't read what I was asking for and gave me a different quote to the topic I was on. I'm not so sure you should be telling me i'm misunderstanding... I posted it, you were the one to not read.

The only, and I repeat ONLY, cloak build that irks me is the sawed off sticky grenade cloaker. That being said I'd simply like a longer time to detonate on those sawed offs to solve that problem. I'd just 180 and turn myself into a suicide bomber and take the idiot with me.

The build and load out I currently run usually gives me plenty of opportunity to handle a cloaker even if they get the jump on me from behind. That's actually how I prefer the fight to start...

I run a decoy build with rear guard (this alone nearly negates the dmg buff a cloaked target gets from behind even with sucker punch), thick skinned, blast shield, sensor sweep, pumped up, and escape artist. As soon as my shields drop I'm moving AWAY from the shotgun cloaker with 80% dmg mitigation from behind. Most are stupid enough to try and chase and run right into a grenade. Once I range them its combo fire of an incinerator and a spanner trapper to keep them kited at range.

Cloak is all about initiative killing. The second a cloaker loses that initiative is when the fight usually goes very badly for them.

Does it feel like 90% of people in pvp are using cloak? Yup. Are 90% of pvpers horrible? You bet. Does cloak alone make a bad player good? No. Therefore, I don't really think cloak needs tweaking atm.

On a side note I would LOVE to see the cooldown of decoy begin as soon as the damn thing is destroyed...

There should be a slight distortion to cloak, so that they aren't Completely invisible. You can see dark matter snipers slightly wen they are cloaked and can see your cloaked teammates but cloak in pvp is perfect. Which means that there is noway to see them coming reguardless which means alot of people will whine about being insta killed out of nowhere. They could add a very slight distortion to cloak for pvp not to the point of DM snipers but at least let them be very slightly visible.

Resort to name calling... age assuming.. yeah. This is all mature and fun here... I'm obviously mad and all because I'm furious with anger calling people names to compensate for lack of an actual response. It's not a nerf thread, it's a discussion thread. Not going to be stupid and assume Trion even reads this cloak thread after all, they've read around 100 by now. By accomplishing or even trying to create a nerf thread i'd be wasting my time. I've received alot of comments just saying to do nothing to cloak and I don't fight them on it, it's their opinion I don't see why this is a nerf thread if I accept all feedback and ask for suggestions. People pitch nerf ideas, others don't. Call it what you want I really don't care enough.

Other than that I think I cleared the main points pretty well. If there's any unanswered questions ask them to me in an organized list because I frankly don't care enough to write a great wall of china in response to your posts, but if there's anything I didn't answer point it out to me and I'll answer it.

Something that I feel I must 'defend' myself on is you said "as soon as you say something he doesn't like hes starts attacking" just because I disagree doesn't mean i'm attacking you, really. You are taking things way too extreme for what they are, i'm literally here half drowsy not even caring about this anymore, the reason I keep even responding to this thread is to read the actual posts, I don't typically enjoy yours in honesty but I will respond to them because they're aimed specifically at me, usually derogatory. Writing this paragraph just to get you to know I really really... really don't want to get you mad, you're doing that all on your own i'm just disagreeing; if you see me as attacking you, it's up to you to continue your argument with me I don't make you, but now you're just starting to hijack this thread and create flame and libel against me, so I'd really prefer if we wrapped this up or you just stopped responding.
