Did this game just get boring or what?

And even with the retail price, I'm being assaulted by an in game store already for outfits and other stuff.
Cosmetics in F2P is common now, but with this having a retail price, and $10+ for an outfit? Har har

I bought an outfit then found out afterwards at arkfalls everyone wears default outfits due to lag.

I put the game in my xbox and dowloaded all the patches and started playing and thinking there sure is alot to do on this game. Then 3 or 4 days later you start thinking, but its the same thing over and over. For an MMO, this game is hella small....... Or is it just me?

You're not the only one. I've been playing this game for about 2 weeks and once I got to San Fransisco the terrible area design just took the wind right out of my sails. I haven't beaten the main story line but I really don't feel compelled to the way I do with other games. Yesterday I logged on, ran the final stage of a major Arkfall and then thought "what's the point? I want to love Defiance but I feel like it prefers me hating it". So I logged out, played about 15 minutes yesterday. This is sign for me to move on. The community seems nice enough but even there something is lacking sinse I can't complete the game with others and have to do to many things solo.

I beat the game in 4 days. Side quested out the ***, and maybe hit EGO 900, I know there's plenty of stuff to do in this game, but really, I have no drive to do it. Side quests are beyond repetitive, all consisting of a collecting quest, killing quest, or collecting and holding out for a few minutes then flushing the area quests. Ark-Falls can only take you so far, never giving me any good loot or enjoyment. The pursuits, again plenty of them, but I don't want to do any of them now. And I don't care about the co-op missions or competitive anymore when I can play games that do those things better like Left 4 Dead or Call of Duty. The game lost it's playability after I beat it. Not to say it wasn't fun while it lasted, but I'm hanging all hope on the DLC now, which I haven't heard a sing peep about. I'm flat out bored.

Around ego 1500 the game gets kinda stale. Just gonna wait for more content and hope its not recycled like alot of content we already have.

Welcome to just about every MMO...that's what quests are. Repetitive kill x of these, gather x of this, escort this NPC and keep them alive, etc etc etc.

Tell me an MMO that doesn't have this type of repetition in it's quests.

I play DCUO and hear the same **** yet its been going strong for almost 3 years... mmo's have a lot to offer it takes time obviously your a nub and just want to complain to get attention.. u succeeded

yea your right dude, this game is a FLOP. Once you beat all the main missions and side missions there IS ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO DO (that actually means something)....welll to be honest...nothing means anything in this game.

yea before i sold my copy, thats how i was too...after i beat everything I would log on, drive around for like 5 minutes and then turn it off then it would sit for about a week and then i would get a sudden blast of excitement "i havnt played in a week theres gota be new stuff to do by now! woo cant wait!!" get on, see that the same ol crap is going on, drive around for 5 minutes, turn it off and thats how it went for about 4 weeks till i sold the game...1st week of having the game WAS fun...but after that it was BOOOOOOOOOOORING...Wish I could have just rented this game.
