I don't understand why you always seem to choose to do it in prime time, emergencies I understand (funny they always happen at prime time) but I seriously can't believe it's down so frequently on Friday nights, sat and sun as well. I couldn't log in last night and now I can't log in tonight. It's well past launch day, we know the servers are not packed, so what gives? Aside from major server problems and poor timing with take downs I'm really enjoying the game. When I can play it.
You must of not been aware that last night the servers had a bit of a problem and had to go down for 5+ hours.
You don't suppose the fact that it IS Prime Time -- when the most players are online, doing the most number of different things so that we have the most likely chances of something going wrong that warrants immediate action -- has anything to do with that timing?Originally Posted by Rekluse

anyway its ALWAYS prime time for one or another timezone. for me im loving it that its always at night it goes down, gives me a "good" reason to go to bed haha

What time zone do you live in? And what time do you consider to be YOUR prime time? People form all over the world play this game. What is prime time in Europe | Australia/NZ | Americas are all quite different. So, I guess your plea is to please stop messing with YOUR prime time, mess with those other people?

I'm talking US time for US servers, It should not matter if it's East coast or West coast I've seen many mmo's do their maintenance near midnight to in the AM. And it's a great time to do that BECAUSE NO ONE IS PLAYING. Despite the comments about me being new to this I've been playing mmo's since UO and played all the major and minors along the way or at least dabbled. Over that time I've just seen it done late or near lunch maby or in the morning, I believe their timing is terrible. Don't fan boy out to much dude, I'm not 100% sure but I do believe this game has location based servers so they can take it down at a MORE APPROPRIATE time for all of us in the US and the same for other countries.
