    Bolt Action Rifle

I play without aim assist because of tracking issues. Lining up headshots is a farce in this game. Get the red dot fire right between the eyes.... and nothing. I've noticed I have to aim more toward the shoulder to mouth to register a headshot. Even then it's not a one shot kill. I'm wondering if the PC players have this issue too? And is there tweaking of this in order?

After some testing between a VOT Bolter and Survivalist you have to wait a little while before the shot becomes accurate. I'm guessing there is another set of invisible crosshairs that comes together the longer you stay crouched and don't move for shots greater than 50m away.

In the end i found the Vot Bolter has a shorter wait time than survivalist to become accurate to your visible crosshairs.

there are variables in accuracy, and atm putting on a scope mod for + to accuracy actually makes it less accurate (this is an erronious value in need of and soon to be fixed) that being said.. every weapon has a degree of error.. a cone or "bloom" if you will.. the further from the weapon to the target the more obvious this is. That being said.. NO, not every shot will hit dead on.. as it should be for basic weapons.. IRL match grade ammunition is types of ammo designed to be as accurate as possible and help eliminate that cone of error. While any good sniper out there will using nothing but the best ammo, that is not the case in this game.

Be glad you do not have to account for wind, parabolic arch, barometric pressures and if shooting a cold rifle or not..

but in game, try not to add a scope mod, or if you add something, add something that does NEGATIVE acuracy for now.. this will make it hit right on the dot for the most part.
