I registered but no notification on the page stating that fact.

But if I try to register again, I get the ϴ symbol on the Register button...which probably means I was registered because it won't let me submit the info again.

Just go back to the site and it will say you are registered .

That sucks ! That is how it worked for me.

I was having issues with the VBI website as well, but how I managed to fix it was to try different browsers. In my personal experience Internet Explorer 10 and Chrome failed to get me properly registered. Firefox did work.
