if that is true then when don't you go play those other great options? and i'm not defending in every negative thread, i'm just still enjoying the game and i respond to others about why they should still play the game.

also i think it was bad for Defiance to invite Xbox and PS3 to the party, they should have kept with PC only since 95% of the Console community obviously never played an MMO and are finally seeing the treu part of gaming.

This isn't that great of an MMO either. There is not enough content! If oyu can beat all the missions and side missions in under a week, that a laughable amount of content. Character customization is a joke! Community aspect of this game is not present! There is no need to play with anyone to get far in this game!

I was right there with everyone saying this game is awesome and is going to be the next big game. But guess what, I realize that this game is going to flop within a few months because of the lack of content!

And with the amount of bugs and server problems they charged everyone $60 minimum to play a beta!

So far this game is a joke with potential. But until that potential is realized, It's just a hope and a prayer at this point.

Rotate games. Keeps the MMOs fresher for longer. Log in every so often to do dailies, some pursuits, maybe work on those grind pursuits, and the weekly mission content. Marathoning a game is guaranteed to burn you out.

I already have but I stop by this forum to see if there are any update on new content getting released. As well as to laugh at all the fanboys that act like there is nothing wrong with this game. Until content get released, the forums are more entertaining than the game.
Dead Island gets released on tuesday, I am happy a new game is getting released that is as much of an MMO as this one! oops I meant 4 player co-op like this entire game is! There is no MMO feeling to this game at all! All you can do is play with 4 player like any other co-op and no need for anyone else in the world to interact with. Unless thats the point of an MMO, I'm not sure.

well like i said if you don't like this game just get the f*ck out, leave and do some other game, we really can't have ppl here on forums being all negative all the time but still be playing the game because they are wondering how it's going to be in a few months, that is just being a hypocrit.

and you know why console "makes" more money in sales then pc? because PC players intend to play games longer then two weeks and then buy another game like all console players are doing.
but hey what do i know i'm just a mere gamer that has played MMO's for over 5 years and have met games that went much much worse then these little hickups.

I like the game very much, but i do agree that the content is lacking...other mmo's have poor content at launch but still keeps you occupied until the devs manage to polish it, where as this one even tho with promises of dlc and episodic content fails to deliver.

I am still going to play the game because the gameplay is very enjoyable, but where other mmo's took at least a few months to become repetitive and stale, this one only lasted a couple of weeks.

Hoping for major content in the upcoming dlc, but considering the pace that everything is going, i really doubt it would deliver on at least half of the player expectations. For a starter, the map you can see when pressing m should have been available entirely at launch (thus avoiding content problems) and fill it in time with events or anything else as extra content...

The game is boring, no doubt about that, but while it is bugged (normal for an mmo so young) and the lack of content at the start, it still has more playability (for me at least) than former mmo's that i played just because it is fresh...that and if you compare it with firefall for example that seems to be the same type of game, that one became boring in 4 hours of gameplay...

Then I guess you have bad choices in games then.

And how can you call yourself a gamer if your so one dimensional. Most people that play MMO's only cant play other games because they lack skill in them. There really isn't any skill involved in mmo's besides having patience and grinding to get more character customization.

And yes you need negetive threads in the forums to let the Dev's know that there are A LOT of people that are unhappy with there product! It allows them to get the feed back and make the game even more perfect than you think it is already! Thats why I dont understand why people get so butt hurt when people talk negative about this game. The only way the Dev's can make it better is by understanding the negative comments!

If everyone says it perfect all the time, then they have no reason to make improvements on the game. I see the potential, but weather they want to realize it is up to them!

People would not wonder what will be in a few weeks if the game had some more content to it at the launch, it is tho enough content to get your money's worth if you compare it with a single player game that has the same price range

Have to disagree with you here. If this was PC only I wouldn't be able to play this outstanding thing of awesome-ness. I am not a PC gamer at all. I can't stand mouse and keyboard controls. I've wanted an MMO brought to Xbox for a long time, one that wasn't final fantasy that is, and Trion finally delivered this to me. Its not perfect, but I still love it. More on point though, I think the people that are getting bored with this game are doing so because they don't have a group of friends to run with. I run with the same group pretty much every day and we have plenty of fun just driving down the road telling jokes and tearing Raiders and 99ers into pieces.

When the game came out I had around 20-25 people on my friends list that played this game. I am in a clan of over 100 members. With the majority of my friends are in it too. The reason i am bored is I completed everything in this game to fast because I thought that there was way more content than that available and now the only thing I have left is to help friends out with there missions that I already completed. But there is no new content for me to play. And most of the missions feel the same overall. I wish they put the effort of the missions that are solo into the rest of the missions that your friends can play with!

They really need to release more content! Please tell me how you keep yourself entertained to keep playing this game with out any missions to play, played all the co-ops, and pvp isnt worth a damn. Why play a mediocre at best PvP game mode when there are plenty of great options available elsewhere?

I'm 100hours into the game and I've yet to beat the main missions. Are you expecting a game to give you endless missions to play with ? After you beat everything, you'll have to grind stuff/ego rating, or wait for the weekly update.
