wow you are so wrong by saying that there is no skill in playing MMO's.... anyways i said that i've been playing MMO's for over 5 years that doesn't mean i ONLY played MMO's, i've played **** tons of games starting with Cod2 to Red Alert 2 and Battlefield 3 (just to name a few), so i am not one dimensional and i played quite a few of genres.
I agree that feedback can make the game better and people should point out bad things in the game but there are other ways then just to post one big wall of negativity the entire time.
also i am not saying this game is perfect, i don't think it's perfect and it isn't but shouting towards everyone and saying this game is bad and ppl should stop playing etc etc is just trying to force your opinion over to others while they might be enjoying the game.
When people do post real feedback and ideas though it just gets mostly ignored because people arent prepared to spend 10 minutes reading a thread when there are people that need flaming in the next thread.....
http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...e-big-BIG-post.
Maybe instead of every thread that is negative about the game getting flamed by fanboys defending the most undefendable issues in the game. Maybe they should just not reply to the negative ones because it keeps them at the top of the forums and make threads that praise the game.
This thread for example: Anyone that has completed every mission and side mission in the game over a week ago, knows that this was a very short game and is lacking good quality content. And also knows that most of the side missions were a joke. Not all, but most.
Until I beat every mission I was very happy with this game, but I also did't realize that the content was going to end so fast. If you play the missions strait through It is beatable in 1 days worth of playing. and 2 days if you include all the side missions. To me that not enough content. I know most dont do that, including myself. I was chasing arkfalls, playing co-op missions and doing random events through out my missions but it still took me less than a week to beat this game. And to me that means this game lacks content.
For example: Skyrim I played for months and still had some side missions left. Completed 90% of them, but as i would go through the game I would run into new people with different missions to complete.
Thats why i feel the content isn't on par with content, when the Dev's pre-release said that there was a huge amount of content!

If you think this is an mmo neither have you, this might aswell have been sold as a single player game. Loot system sucks, no progression, grinding to 5000 ego? For what? As much as i want to enjoy this game i wish it actually had mmo qualities in it, sadly it doesn't.

/beats dead horse..
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of beating dead horses. Animal cruelty on forums should be made federally illegal.
Seriously, the game is FREE TO PLAY. Take a 4-12 week vacation onto other games or just come back for episode updates. Cause in a few months there will be tons of updates, fixes, and most likely alot more content... You bought it, all the glorious content and fixes will be here when you get back. My guess is that you'll be more than happy with the fixes and Trion will love you ever just as much as you buy all the new dlc's that come along. Enjoy the game, take breaks , come back for more at your on convenience. I've been on a 4 month break from gw2 and truly plan on leveling my engineer someday as my ranger was my first 80. I have years to get that accomplished. Current plans are to go back to SWToR next month as I've heard they've done ALOT with fixes and updates and have 8 or so guildies totally happy they retried that. There are TONS of things to do in the gaming world. Defiance should I truly believe prove to be a very rewarding game to take breaks from and come back when fresh content is made available or at your personal leisure.
It does get bored after clearing all the dailies, nothing much to do afterward. Co-ops instance get repetitive quick, same for pvp. Chasing after Arkfalls is the only fun part for me, but Arkfalls stalled my weapon leveling progression. It's puzzle me why they didn't allow leveling weapon while doing Arkfalls. It's almost they don't want people to progress through Arkfalls.
I'm not "completely" bore yet. I still finding plenty of things to do ;
- Leveling Weapon Skills.
- Hunting for keycodes, and rare Specials in vendors.
- Mods farming in activities.
- EGO leveling up.
- Recruiting
- Daily Contracts
- Arkfalls
- Helping people with hard missions in San Francisco.
- Co-ops
- PvP
The list goes on .....
But, i agree that some fresh content will be nice, specially more territory to explore. I nearly know every single little corner in the current map... so i don't have as much fun exploring anymore ;(
