Spent the last game looking to the skies, and cannot see any carriers or helicopters, nor can I see anyone dropping down from above.
Do you mean bunny hopping? I can aim at a bunny hopper. I can aim WHILE bunny hopping. Hell I throw dolphin diving into the mix, too, though crouching rather than full on prone doesn't quite have the same impact.
You can't? Never mind.
(I also have the perk doing more damage when above an enemy, which means a good chunk of my shots randomly do a lot more damage from jumping around, too!)
So yeah, apparently it's easier to complain about a games mechanics and demand the developers change it than it is to actually learn how to play the game itself. I don't really PvP in Defianc and in every game I do and some dude flies through the air and blasts me I get a little p***ed off same as I hate people quick scoping. But I also recognize when someone's just better than me and I too can get better, I don't sit around whining about a games mechanics.
TL;DR
If someone else can do it in the game so can I and some dude flying through the air can get shot just as easily as someone running.

Bunny hoppers aren't hard to pwn.. so go ahead.. keep hopping... Try doing it with my infector bugs chomping your backside.. or those night gooey black boots I just gave you.. or even better.. while you on fire from my Firestorm. Won't matter.. I'll still be laughing, and you'll still be D E D.. Dead! (not a typo, a movie ref for those who actually do more than game..lol)
Bunny hopping is a fact of any PvP environment.. I hate it just as much as most, but it's a tool.. and often used by tools.. as a way of providing some sort of extra defense and possible extra offensive option. Frankly.. you jump.. I roll.. My roll stops first, and I know where your landing.. See Ya!
Another person trying to use peer pressure to change the way people play. Calling people tools and pretending that jumping does nothing. If using jumping to avoid critical hits is something for tools then why do professional players and use it. You remind me of Kimbo Slice you think your badass fighting randoms until you actually start fighting(playing) people who do it for a living. I hate being shot by infectors they dont require to much skill. You dont even have to be aiming directly at the person and the bullets lock on and curve. I dont think your a tool your using it their effective and good to find cloakers aswell. My point is even thought i dont like being hit by them im not going to say poeple who use them must have terrible aim and hope that that might peer pressure them into not using them
Guess what when someone jumps they have no control where they will land so just point where they are going to land since they cannot change directions in air.

They should add an endurance bar. Every time you jump, that endurance bar gets depleted, and then have it slowly regen. This would limit the stupid bunny hopping.
Aren't there more important things to worry about. I for one do not bunny hop because I'm horrible when I'm jumping around and get picked off anyways. Also I run around with an LMG and Sniper Rifle so it's a little dumb for me to jump around anyways. If someone is jumping around I haven't had any issues picking them off, yes it is next to impossible for me to head shot them intentionally but I can land my hits. Now if you are experiencing so much lag that someone jumping makes it impossible for you to shoot them then you need to upgrade your system(if you're PC) or your internet because the only time I've ever lagged was during an arkfall that 100 people were a part of and my internet is S HIT! Good luck with dealing with the mechanics. Just because someone can kick your *** at a game doesn't mean the game is broken, it may just mean you blow.
