Maxed out Roller skill has reset to level 1!

I just got my Roller skill level to the maximum today, which I thought would be 21. But instead it went from level 20 to level 40 and all of my bonuses disappeared (and it showed too as I was much slower, weaker, less boost etc.). I tried logging out, resetting my PS3 and still no difference. I've since done a few co-op missions, and when I got out the most recent one I happened to run over a few guys during my travels - at which point I start to see my roller exp bar go up! I checked my skill level and sure enough it's now been reset to one!

If anyone has a fix for this I'd love to hear it. Didn't max out my roller skill to have an instant reset...

Well they need to make a fix -.-
What am I supposed to do? Carry on as if nothing has happened and hope it doesn't do it again next time round?

Yes you carry on and if you reach lvl 20 again, it will reset again

Happens to me to but worst i dont get ego rating everytime it levels up! I know its annoying but what can we do!?

Well I'm going to start with Live Chat. When I had one single glitched data recorder left (you guessed it - 'That's All I Got') I contacted live chat, waited 10 to 15 minutes and within 5 minutes of chatting to a GM I watched the pursuit complete itself in front of me lol.

HOPEFULLY, they can lock my level at 21, maybe raise my LMG level to 21 as well whilst they're at it ^^.

There isn't a fix for this at the minute, I was informed by a GM on live chat - but apparently it is only affecting vehicle skills. Damn it, if I get my other weapon skills reset when I get there...

To all above posters. There is hope, the new patch coming "soon" for the PS3 WILL fix this issue. Verified by myself and many others on XBOX 360 and PC
