How are you being kept entertained?

So, I'm not looking to bash the game or go on some rant. I'm having some fun, playing super casually, but I feel like it should be so much better. How is this game entertaining you? The loot kind of sucks, doesn't it? One of the things I love about these kinds of games is getting better, more interesting and perhaps powerful loot. That doesn't seem at all like a factor here. Mods seem to be so marginally helpful, they almost don't feel worth the time to hold onto. I don't want this to be a clone of Borderlands, but man is that loot system super fun. So many unique guns with cool hidden properties. The perks system seems bland too. I don't want to ramp up loot and perks to be like Borderlands, but I really do feel like they both need a kick in the arse. They're just so boring and marginally better as you get deeper into the game.

Anyway, this games seems very simple and not as creative as I was expecting. I'm not exactly a harsh judge of games and I don't play very many, with Borderlands as my first shooter, ever. I'm not all mad at Trion for this game, but I'm not too impressed either. I'm willing to wait it out and hope things improve, but I'm not sure how to stay entertained in the meantime.

I dont really log on anymore, the forums are entertaining enough. I'd finished all the the interesting content in the game within the first week and did give it a go a little longer before it just got too repetitive. I spent a while making a big constructive thread but people usually ignore it because they'd rather argue like children without a point.

Anyway, yes this game was a massive disappointment. Fun at first but the fun ran out incredibly fast for an 'mmo' title.

I play the game as a supplement to watching the show. Each Tuesday, I log in to see how it has changed since the show last aired, try out any new content/complete any easy pursuit it added, and then I put the game down.

Essentially I play the game one night a week. The other nights are spent with other things.

I find this outcome quite acceptable. This game doesn't need to dominate my gaming.
