It is possible that there is in new content in the patch, but that it is not activated yet. We got the pursuits, pilgrim emergencies etc before the path that said we got them :P

No new contect in a patch? I guess you never played Rift, If you did you would know that unlike other MMO devs such as Blizzard Trion is well known for giving its players new content in the form of a patch and not xpans or DLC. Give them time to fix the known bugs and then im sure that we will see more content in the form of a patch every now and then.
