Still under going maintenance message for me as well. At this point, I'm less worried about playing the beta and more about being able to sign in to my PSN account.

I agree. This does make me a little uneasy about my preorder. I've never had anything disrupt my service like this. I gotta feel that it's not affecting many or there'd be more than a handful of members posting here.

I was playing fine all day. I logged out hoping to fix a voice chat issue and then I got the authentication error when I tried to log in. Now I can't even log into my main PSN account.

Same, finally worked for me as well. What I did was ran a network setting connection test and noticed a little message at the top that said disconnected from media server. Now I'm able to get into the PS Store and defiance but now I can't connect with my bro cuz it's saying can't find him online and vice versa for him. xD When clearly we're both online and in defiance. lol

I downloaded, installed and began playing just fine earlier today. I am still able to play the beta on an alternate account on my PS3 but like everyone else, I can no longer log in to my main PSN ID.

I have reset my router and my modem twice at this point as well as unplugged the PS3.

I have the team looking into the issue, might be a bug the team is already aware of.

Just for kicks... can you create a new character and log in and see if you can see each other.
