    Oh gawd another one of these ignorant fools who cherry pick their facts to support their argument. The lag issue applies to all rapid movement not just jumping. By this logic sprinting, rolling, strafe twitching, and the Blur EGO should all be removed because they may benefit from lag.

    its actualy a pretty big deal, not as much as other but still up there.

    you just basicly punched yourself in the face,and thats by your ignorance thinking im ignorant lol

    lag hopping has been gong on for years in competative games because its exploiting peoples connections,

    rolling you cant shoot while doing it

    however jump spamming you can keep jumping miles in the air and getting easy headshots as well as your target proberly shooting into thin air because,on there screen you are in the air when you are proberly on the ground about to jump in the air again.


    dont try and justify a problem just because you want to abuse it.

    learn to play and you wont have to abuse these sad exploiting tactics

    The only thing I would fix would be the perk that grants you more damage when higher than your enemy. I still haven't tested to see if this works when jumping but I would assume so.

    Still, most of the complaints I see for jumping are that it's "not realistic" or "it looks dumb" or "laggggg" but these are all awful arguments. You can't play the realism card in a science fiction TPS. Just stop. And as nuarblack pointed out everything is affected by lag so that's a moot point.

    Um sprinting and rolling are the only ones you can't shoot during. Twitching back and forth and using blur you can shoot while doing just the same as jumping. I do think something should be done about jumping such as inceased spead/bloom but the lag argument is just ridiculous. The game shouldn't be dumbed down for people with bad connections. Especially in a game that has an always online requirement as players should know that a high speed connection is a necessity coming in. With the exception of the bolt action sniper rifle bug, I have had zero lag issues and hit box detection issues since Trion got the servers stabilized.

    Seriously though, they did nerf jumping slightly.. In Liberate the Lost I used to be able to jump onto the cages (barely) immediately after the alarm room.. Now I can't come close to the required jump height to get on them..

    wow i missed alot this weekend. and i haven't had much lag issues but yes soem people eat damage (lag) espcially dat mexican internet lol

    Ok now I understand. I never did get the idea why jumping is such a big deal but if u put latency, bandwidth, etc. with it now I get the reason why. Had same issues in other games but the thing is reducing the height or what not of the jump just satisfy the other side is a bit bias. I mean its neither of the sides fault that the other has better connection but to change the effectiveness of jump is not the right way to fix this issue.

    I do use jump a lot to avoid dmg but thats just my instinct to survive, it is PvP. You dont expect the other team to be courteous, kind, generous to you. Some players will exploit such things and other stuff as well to win. Life is unfair.
    All I hope is that the devs fix the issues that we have right now in PvP soon.
