like many other players i have fallen in love with the game, from co op pursuits to shadow war and everything in between. ive played many games over the years and I UNDERSTAND that mmos launch with issues that cant be ironed out until the player base can bring in enough information regarding these issues. i can easily look past server disconnects and social systems disappearing, these things can be worked around by a persistent player and really wont deter anyone who enjoys the game from continuing to do so.
but there is one particular glitch that is absolutely game shattering and anyone who has experienced this im sure understands and will agree with me completely: weapons vanishing from your loadout slots.
i had come to the conclusion that a sawed off VOT nano fragger would be the best weapon for the way i had intended to play in competitive pvp matches so i took the plunge on BITs and spent $100 on lockboxes to see if i could get a purple one atleast. luck was with me and i got a legendary with ego power recharge on reload.
life was good.
a couple days later i join a pvp match with an item in the salvage and *boop* gone bye bye to my fancy new $100 vot nano fragger.
life is very bad and logging into the game brings more sadness then visiting a dying relative on their deathbed at this point.
i scour the forums and decide its best to put in a support ticket and give live chat a shot. the live chat will not run in any browser i have(ie, mozzila, and chrome) for reasons i will admit im to simple to understand and i had no way of knowing that my support ticket would even be acknowledged considering the overflow tickets they are getting on a daily basis. i replied to my own ticket very politley stating how i felt as if this was not quite fair treatment of a paying customer and that i would no longer be purchasing any BITs or trion products until compensated accordingly for my money spent.
this is what i got as an official response from GM Giant:

If you no longer require assistance then please close out your ticket as this will allow us to get to those with outstanding issues in a more timely fashion. If your issue remains unresolved then no further action is needed by you at this time.

now i can hope this is a computer error and that half of the message is missing, or i can be honest with myself and see that trion has not even attempted to address the issue i presented to them and have done nothing to appease my concerns considering the fact that this could very well HAPPEN AGAIN if i was naive enough to purchase even more BITs at this time.
todays patch notes have stated that they "Improved issues with salvage matrix causing items to disappear" but to someone who has already felt the sting of losing something quite valuable, and losing hope of re obtaining it, that does little to set my mind at ease. does "improved" mean i can now purchase another $100 of BITs without fear of losing the one (or maybe two) half decent items i might get for a second time?
this isnt a flame post, i want to continue playing this game, but i cant be the only player out there who cant bring themselves to grind out or purchase a good weapon only to have it hang around there neck like a noose until the servers drop out from under us and it vanishes along with your desire to do it all again.
