I needs an active clan that I can get social pursuits done with. So I'm talking like, 15+ members on quite often. Willing to do arkfalls, co-op, and pvp.
Current EGO rating is 2800+
I'm also a HUGE Pantera fan. xD

If you want to join and see if you enjoy it though, drop a line at DrakonLich or GERMiside later tonight anytime your free, i'd say about 8PM Central time we should all be on. I hope you enjoy what you experience with us, if you decide to tag along. Take care!

More like Vulgar Display of Wieners!
Haha, sorry bro, Heaven's Sword is right at 15 members, plus it's a clan I've had since around 2002, so it's a bit of a pride/tradition thing. Not to mentiona family/friends all involved, et cetera...
But I was gonna throw it out there - I don't wanna hawk any of your recruits, but let them know I usually have a few people on throughout the day, if they want some friendlies to play with! As far as I'm concerned, anybody in VDoP is cool with us!
Except you, nut-biter.
Hell no, I don't want to go get some fries.

Today we have an extra special bump, straight from Finland! Lordi Bump! ;]
It Snows In Hell!
The Riff!
Devil Is A Loser!
Blood Red Sandman!
Hard Rock Hallelujah!
So I first heard this band a little while ago, I think it was 2 years ago.. Maybe more! I was hanging out at a halloween party, kickin' back a BTG, having a blast! All of a sudden over the speakers, I heard this kick-*** riff. The song had this strange sound, very Rock n' Roll but kind of metal to. Then I heard a part of the lyrics.. "The devil is a loser and he's my b*tch!" Yea I was interested..
So I asked my friend, who had made the cd that was playing over the stereo. He tells me this band is called Lordi. Soon as I got home I googled this "Lordi" and found a new favorite band. I have always loved the idea of a monster band. KISS, being one of my favorite. Gwar was never a band I really liked so I couldn't dig they're costumes that much. Lordi however was my type of music, and I loved it!
Above are just a few of the songs that I enjoy, which I like just about all of Lordi's music, its different. I hope they can find a few new fans in whoever reads this, they deserve it!
Lordi is a Finnish hard rock band, formed in 1992 by the band's lead singer, songwriter and costume-designer, Mr. Lordi. The band is known for wearing monster masks and using pyrotechnics during concerts. They rose to domestic success in 2002 with their first single, "Would You Love a Monsterman?".
Lordi made history in 2006 by winning the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with a then record 292 points, becoming the first Finnish performer to win the contest. Lordi was featured on the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen when the band's frontman, Mr. Lordi, presented the award for rock. They were also the closing act, playing their single "Hard Rock Hallelujah". They also performed on Britain's Making Your Mind Up for the Eurovision Song Contest. Lordi performed on the main stage at Ozzfest 2007 and later that year toured with Type O Negative and Twin Method until Halloween night.
Line-Up
--Mr. Lordi - Vocals
--Amen - Guitar
--OX - Bass
--Mana - Drums
--Hella - Keyboards
There newest album, To Beast or Not To Beast, had a single titled The Riff. I want to take a minute to talk about this song, its truly a Rock N' Roll Anthem. The Riff tells a story, like all of Lordi's song, about The Grim Reaper, who's a guitarist. The lyrics tell of Death playing a song for Mr. Lordi, and Lordi being a critic and saying that "The Riff is killer, the rest is a throw-away."
Another amusing part I like, is this lyric tag. "So the devil is out of touch, and he cannot smell a hit. 'Cause he has lost his mind, with all that hip-hop sh*t!" Well, anyway I hope you all enjoy this awesome Monster band. The Line-up has there band/monster names. They worked hard to keep up the image, I won't ruin it!

Well I asked around, and I got two bump request today.. Orange Goblin and GWAR. I'm not much of a GWAR fan, but GERMiside is, so he will be doing his very first bump today! For me, however, Orange Goblin it is!
The Man Who Invented Time
Solarisphere
Shine
Time Traveling Blues
Stand For Something
Special Mention!
Don Felder | Heavy Metal - Takin' A Ride
So where to begin.. Orange Goblin caught my radar back when I first seen the Heavy Metal movie, the original. The music hooked me and the crazy movie was just a trip, and not a bad one at that. I was looking for the soundtrack for the movie, I found one of the songs. Takin' A Ride, I came across this song called Solarisphere. I was hooked, Orange Goblin is such a cool mixture of music. Be sure to check out ALL of there albums to get a wide range of the music they have to offer!
Orange Goblin was originally formed in 1995 under the name Our Haunted Kingdom. They released a split 7" with Electric Wizard in 1996 on Rise Above Records before adopting the moniker Orange Goblin. The band's first three albums were stoner/doom. On 2002's Coup de Grace they began to add punk, doom metal, and other influences to their sound.
Their first five releases were issued by Rise Above Records. Rhythm guitarist Pete O'Malley left the band in 2004 to pursue a career as an artist. On December 16, 2005 the band celebrated its tenth anniversary with a concert at the Underworld club in Camden also featuring Scissorfight and Blood Island Raiders. Their 2007 album, Healing Through Fire was released on Mayan/Sanctuary Records. On September 3, 2008 the band announced that they had signed with Candlelight Records and were working on material for a new album with a September 2009 release date in mind. It was then announced in May 2009 that "Songwriting for the new album is ongoing but looks very promising with the skeleton of four or five new songs already in place. Two rough working titles for the new songs include Red Tide Rising and The Bishop's Wolf".
Line-up
--Ben Ward - Vocals/Guitar
--Joe Hoare - Guitar
--Martyn Millard - Bass
--Chris Turner - Drums
Now to talk about something also dear to my heart. Heavy Metal, the movie. This movie is my soul motivation for me leaving behind the rap and hip hop that I was listening to, Mainly due to everyone at school listening to this type of music. Once I seen that movie, I was mesmerized. I came for the girls, stayed for the music. The music was something that I could never forget, like that movie. Heavy Metal 2K was just as good, even had a Pantera song in it.
It got me into the music that would define me, as a person, and musician. I had finally found.. me! For to long had I been listening to music I didn't care about, because everyone else did. Let this be a lesson to all, no matter what music you like, be proud of it. Don't let other people push you into something you don't want to do, stay true to yourself, Rather you be Rocker or Rapper.

GWAR Bump!
Meat Sandwich!
War Is All We Know!
Slaughterama!
Eighth Lock! *Jack likes this one*
The Ultimate Bohab!
Well, Jack likes LORDI, not GWAR. Considering how much I enjoy GWAR I will be doing my OWN bump! Gwar is hard to explain really. I like them 'cause they are funny, they have this great story. They are aliens that live on Antartica, and they want to take over the world. Greatest warriros in the universe, and even dethrone the DEVIL to rule hell themselves! They have done an assortment of crazy covers, in there own style. The live shows are the best thing about GWAR to me, they do crazy stuff, they have there music sure.. But its the show they give that's worth it.
All of the crazy antics that they pull off onstage make each show worth attending. Side Note, if you wear a white shirt, your going to get covered in all sorts of gunk, but don't wash it! It becomes a testament of your awesome night at a GWAR show! *Talk about the ultimate signature*
Gwar is a satirical heavy metal band formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984. The band is well known for its elaborate science fiction/horror film inspired costumes, obscene lyrics and graphic stage performances, which feature humorous enactments of politically and morally taboo themes.
Gwar is the end result of two separate projects merged into one. Dave Brockie was the vocalist and bassist for a punk band named Death Piggy that staged mini-plays and used crude props to punctuate their often ridiculous music. Bands would occasionally practice in a room at the Richmond Dairy, a deserted bottling plant that had been taken over by hippies. The hippies rented out interior areas to various artists and musicians. It was at the Richmond Dairy that Death Piggy met Hunter Jackson (Techno Destructo) and Chuck Varga (Sexecutioner), both attendees of Virginia Commonwealth University who had set up "The Slave Pit", a production space for Scumdogs of the Universe, a movie they intended to make. Jackson would create props for Death Piggy to use on stage. Brockie had an idea to use the costumes made for "Scumdogs of the Universe" and have Death Piggy open for themselves as a barbaric band from Antarctica, playing nonsense songs while sacrificing fake animals. The name of the joke group was "Gwaaarrrgghhlllgh". The members of Death Piggy began noticing that more people were coming to see Gwaaarrrgghhlllgh and leaving immediately after the set. After several refinements, including shortening the band's name, Death Piggy was phased out in favor of band now named Gwar.
Line-Up
--Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) Vocals
--Mike Derks (Balsac the Jaws of Death) Guitar
--Brad Roberts (Jizmak Da Gusha) Drums
--Jamison Land (Beefcake the Mighty) Bass
--Brent Purgason (Pustulus Maximus) Lead Guitar
Rather your a GWAR fan, or a LORDI fan, I hope everyone finds something special in these songs. Monster bands have been around a long time, and will be for along time. They are fun, and that is the most important thing when enjoying something. Fun.
SIDE NOTE... I took a long time to make sure this was all well done and spelled well, I hope you enjoy it!
also for Gwar R.I.P. guitarist Cory Smoot, who had portrayed Flattus Maximus since 2002, was found dead by his fellow band members in the band's tour bus. The Cause of death was "a coronary artery thrombosis brought about by his pre-existing coronary artery disease.” At the time of the announcement, no formal statement concerning the circumstances of his demise nor of the future of the band had been made. On November 4, Dave Brockie officially announced that the character of Flattus Maximus would be retired out of respect to Smoot
Both awesome bumps! If you don't mind, Germ, I'd also like to suggest Biledriver, Happy Death Day, Jack the World, and S.F.W., all by Gwar as well!
Hell no, I don't want to go get some fries.
