If Ben gets shot in the head he will not be able to set off the bomb and die.

How is this not logical?
The bomb was armed but not set to explode and had to be triggered, so the gun to the head makes quite a bit of sense ... after all they didn't know he'd rather choose death than be captured alive.
Why he didn't try and go for it, that I can't tell you.

He didn't go for it because he didn't want to set off the bomb. He didn't want to kill everyone, he was only doing it to save his family (that was what Birch said to him, right?) so this was his way out.

I didn't notice the arch in old St. Louis but was wondering how the arch is in Defiance when St. Louis was essentially covered and buried under the terraforming. Shouldn't the arch have been buried too? Unless, likely answer for each, is that isn't THE arch but rather one the citizens of Defiance are building.

I don't think ALL of St. Louis was covered, only a portion.

Also, in the first episode, the mayor said that the arch "survived", so I think it might be the original, im not sure

If they are going to be sending characters from the show to the game they have to introduce them, Develop their character, then give them reason to head to the Bay. That ain't gonna happen in a single episode.

Enter the Volge

I'm not too sure if the show will be in St. Louis for the rest of it's existence or even the rest of the season for that matter... I mean, think about it, every episode so far has been about someone trying to wipe it off the map... or at least get it's people to leave (and move to San Fran lol).

So anyone who plays the game should know Gulenite is what they make petrothal or something like that with the fuel for the vehicle's. Second Gulenite comes from Hellbugs they ethier shtako it out or its what they turn into after they die underground but all the info is ingame most in loading screens. As for the show I though tonights show really started to open the story more and showed alot of focus into things to come later like the key that Raif found at the end of the episode which is what the old mayor needs for whatever they are looking for. As for future content to the game go watch this.

So, if the show is supposed to have an impact in the game world... why do all signs after tonight's episode point to them staying in St. Louis, heck, maybe even settling down, and not heading to San Fran?

Three possibilities: We go to St. Louis; St. Louis is destroyed and they come to SF; or (I hope; map opens up and St. Louis becomes another area...

Fourth and more likely possibility: Other characters from the show turn up in the Bay area. One is already confirmed.
