i wish they wouldn't force the actress playing his wife to try for an americanized accent. it doesnt work and makes it hard to listen to her especially since the actress with her real accent is well known
the actor playing Datek isnt forced to change his accent so i dont get why she is

I don't think he's an actual villain, unless they pull a swerve and have him be the one behind the set up. He's not a good guy by any stretch of the imagination, but I wouldn't call him a villain.

Believe me, I'm sure Tony Curran (the actor playing Datak) has as much if not more trouble than Jaime Murray getting rid of the accent. Watch any of the videos on defiance.com and you'll hear it's very apparent he's Scottish.
Datak is shallow as a character at the moment. He's more of an appendage to Stahma as she's the real power and not focused on. She's being done 100x better both in acting and writing. The actor for Datak is not bad but I just think he's just a typical 2 dimensional villain.
