Has the game met your expectations?

Now, I like the game, but that doesn't mean it met my expectations. The lack of functional social features in an MMO is really a massive void, and that's one aspect I really expected Trion to get right. This isn't their first MMO, and Rift was (is) pretty solid. They know how important it is, and I expected them to nail it.

There have been other things that don't work, and I can't say my first brush with customer support was stellar, but I don't expect a new MMO to get everything right--but lacking one of the core things that makes it an MMO in the first place? That is a big deal.

No and a weak yes sad enough.
I had some dislikes in Beta but i did gave it a shot as Trion is high on my like list.

The interaction with the show is made by removing content to fix a time line to a show that had season one shot before the first episode was brought on the air .Weak artificial connection that was hyped as something awesome but turned out marginal almost a hoax.They did not lie but it sure ain't as you tried us to believe it would be.
The Game was promised to be up to snuff for every platform , where is our PC UI , our PC chat???

PR Lesson one never make promises online specially not when filmed it might turn out you can not keep them...It will hunt you...

When they took out the episode stuff i did realize personal for me that was the real connection to the Defiance story.
Our main story is just a chain of quests that most look and feel the same .
Quests are much the same ; horde mode ,clown car
Arkfalls seem to spawn always on the same place , same monsters.

Making a brand new "leveling system" is nice but if you fail to explain you fail hard .
The tutorial in the game is not telling JS about the system.
Its nice fans make wikis and stuff but in the years of gaming the games got more complicated ,we went from printed to PDF but now we are in a time where even that is to much to ask...

Normal we could say RTFM but with no manual this does not work

No its not only Trion is the whole industry that is failing to provide us with a manual or with any real explanation of how the game works ,we gamers are also guilty as we don't complain(read feedback) how will they ever know?
That's why i try to keep emotion out of my comments as much as possible(not always with success i confess ..)

Do not attack nor defend , try to show where YOUR pain is ,help Trion be honest lying hurts this game as much as hate.For the love of the game speak out in a positive way we can't all get what we want but the more honest feedback the more chance you have to influence the game in a positive way

There is a lot of anger and confusion on the forums some is about bugs well Trion is working hard to fix them
There is also stuff you can handle right now ,first thing is make your customers understand how your game works .That would take a lot of weight from you backs.

As now i am kinda skeptical.
I just see where this road goes to ,its my leap of faith .
If it does not deliver what i hoped i only have my self to blame...
