It should be noted, I originally was going to dump this in the suggestion area, but due to two items on this list it would make better sense in the PS3 slot, without further adu...
Needs:
1: A way to re-enter the appearance screen, after careful thought and a shower((I think better taking those)) I came up with the best way to do this. Anyonw ho's played Dragons Dogma, will remeber the edit item, that silly little scroll that let's you change your Arisen, but the first time we get it, were like "Huh, why can't I change my appearance" then BAM, in the start menu we see it. Same deal, when highlighting a charecter, add another item, X = Choose, Triangle = Settings, Square = Delete, Circle = Back, Right Mouse Button = Appearance? Now, by this I mean the Appearance for your chosen Race, you aren't able to change Race, just how you look, then make a race/gender/name changer for Bits, this could be done in the same menu by pressing the left stick.
2: A raid party, this will also cancel out matchmaking for co-op, and some maps dependant on how large your Raid party is, but Raid party would be via a Ok switch, after adding the 5th person, a pop up will appear confirming you wish to make a Raid Party.
3: A way in game to announce trades, and sell items.
4: Better ways to acquire Legendary Weapons, such as lockboxes that have greater chance of
Orange, and Garentee'd Purple, but only 2 items in the box at the same cost or greater cost then a T4 Lockbox, or even better make it cost 75 keys. Then it's inaccessible until you of a high enough level to expand keycodes to 75.
5: Better Mods in Mod Stores, the best mods I have to repeat rampages over, and over, and over again. I don't know how to get "Rolling Thunder" or most of the Synergy's that wet my appetite, so the basic ones are fine. I just would like a way to buy the better Tiers, maybe up to Blues.
Wants:
1: Better outfits, the ones we have are nice, just... too many retextures I'd like to see some more fresh designs.
2: A way to make Clan Insignias which can be viewed in game, I'd also like to see a clan search, for people looking for clans, and a way to set up an in game clan application.
3: A "teleport to clan member" option.((frankly I don't know why this doesn't exist....))
4: A Cerberus seller in game, selling multiple forms of the car, with varying prices.
5: More weapon types, in future DLC's. Such as Cold Fire, and so on. I'd also be ok with Long Bows, and Homing Throwing Knives to replace Grenades, no explosion just Direct Damage, and maybe wrist mounted weapons.
6: Racial Boosts, I understand that this game wants things "fair" but each race has it's own religion, it's own background, I'd like to see boosts that mirror these.
7: this goes with 6, but more races, I know some are coming with DLC, but I'd love to play as a Volge.
PS3 Centrec:
1: Option to use Keyboard and Mouse instead of PS3 Controller
2: Option to use Playstation Move remote instead of PS3 Controller(I don't use the PS Move, but I know people who do, and I think they'd enjoy it in Defiance)
3: Option to view PS3 trophy Progression in game.
4: Option to add people in the game, but not on your PS3 friends list, IE add the avatar and it's name, not the account attached to the character, this would allow us to have over 100 friends in Defiance.
Edit: Additional ideas...
Weapons:
Besides something like a throwing knife, another item this game is missing is Proxy mines/charges, these could be shot via detonator, or thrown. Thrown version automatically explodes when the player throws a second, det can be manually exploded the same as other variants, this would help avoid massive Proxy charges in PvP, Proxy charges/mines would have large AOE, and triggered when someone enters the Max Damage zone, an exclamation mark would show, and then the mine would detonate shortly after, or within a half a second dependent on rarity. I'd also like to see Bola Rockets, these would be homing missiles, that act same as a Mass Driver, allowing it to be detonated mid air, the difference is the rocket would split in two, being chained together by an electric Bola, which would wrap whatever it hit causing a large explosion and stunning the target, the downside would be high damage, but a low radius.
Arena Hordes:
As it sounds, an area where you and a group of four, would compete in a score oriented Horde mode, starting with skitterlings, and ending with everything, or maybe allowing the head to choose the Horde style before hand. The mode would not be timed, would go in waves, no limit on how many, but just to see how long you and your group can go. This would be good end game content.
Arena PvP 1 on 1 with the option of people watching:
One thing I always found all PvP's in MMO's missing, is a dueling arena where people can watch 2, real people, go at it. Be cool to add gambling as well, offer items and weapons as well as money and scrip, similar to what occurred at the Hollows in the show, these could range from ruled combat "Pistols Only" "Shotgun Only" to "Melee Only" or "Best out of 3" again, not only good end game, but also could be a good way to settle the "Who's better" argument.
Gambling House and Auction House:
The former, is mentioned a lot. But the Latter, not so much. Now in my eyes this game takes place on an earth where Survival of the Fittest is more literal that theological, So why they didn't add something like Poker, or Blackjack, or something custom made by the designers as a Votan Gambling Game, I don't know, but I wouldn't mind seeing it added.. as all MMO's need minigames.
